In a win for parents and school-choice advocates, the US Supreme Court overturned a Maine law Tuesday that denied religious schools access to state tuition assistance available to students attending secular private institutions.

Maine created the program to give options to kids living in areas without public schools — but excluded faith-based institutions from those options.

The high court ruled 6-3 that the prohibition “penalizes the free exercise” of religion in Maine by excluding “otherwise eligible schools on the basis of their religious exercise.” In other words, discriminating against all religious education is discriminating against religion, period............

Weird coincidence, but it seems a SCOTUS containing Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Coney- Barrett seems to be making a number of long- overdue rulings. And I really enjoy seeing Clarence Thomas's renewed confidence and willingness to take a greater leadership role with these 3 new Constitutionalists added to the chamber.

And I most especially relish DemRATZ typical whining, kvetching, and rending of clothes as the lose important case after important case. Cry like the little RAT-bitches and bassTURDZ EWE are, ewe Marxist MORONZ...LOL@DemRATZ!!

Indeed. And while I ain't a big Mitch McConnell fan, he did spearhead the difficult task of guiding the nominations thru the confirmation process.
