Whole2th mRNA codes for producing s-proteins ... presumably the s-proteins (spike proteins) that have affinity for ACE2 binding sites on human heart, lung, kidney and other cells. Is the 'novel' coronavirus a genetically engineered bat coronavirus with s-proteins (spike proteins) spliced to cross species to humans ... "gain of function"? No isolates of the novel coronavirus are said to be available for study. Is the genetic engineering of the virus a reason not to make the virus available to study? Are they trying to put the cat back into the bag by attempting to negate the effects of the s-proteins? Does the mRNA gradually disappear--as the human genome does not have the coding for producing this mRNA?
