Los Angeles, CA A video uploaded to Facebook last week shows the ridiculous nature of the American police state.
According to the video uploader, the police in the video below came to this house because they saw a teenager riding his bike with no hands and without a helmet. Not wanting to be kidnapped or killed, the teenager rode his bike home after he saw the police.
When police showed up, youd think they were responding to a bank robbery or child kidnapping. However, the half-dozen public servants were only there to extort money from a child for not wearing a helmet.
During the standoff, the family knew that their child was going to be kidnapped by police, so they initially refused to hand him over. After several threats, however, the boy would eventually come outside.
The officers blatantly lied to the family, saying only that they wanted him to come outside to receive his citation for no helmet. But after walking out, hes immediately placed in cuffs and put into a patrol car.
The video below represents the epitome of everything wrong with police in America today. We see men gunned down, shot in the back by cops over a broken tail light. We see children, murdered by officers who wrongly raided a home in search of an arbitrary substance.
The reality is that this boys very life was in jeopardy over a bicycle helmet.

If the SHTF, those cops are going to be in deep shit !!! I know of situations where one SP Trooper stood up to 10 bikers. Those guys in the video are a bunch of pussies. they were desperate to show their " authority "

Yeah, it's pretty bad when it takes a gang of cops to issue a ticket.
You're probably old enough to remember when there were no helmet laws for kids or anyone for that matter. And what kid never rode with no hands to show off?
After I got out of the service in 1976, I biked from Ohio to Montana and back - never wore a helmet. I may have even rode with no hands a few times.
Geesh - back then even the riders in the Tour De France didn't wear helmets, they wore those little bike caps.
Too many laws - this used to be a free country.
If the SHTF, those cops are going to be in deep shit !!! I know of situations where one SP Trooper stood up to 10 bikers.
I assume you meant motorcycle bikers. Yeah - seems that the Staties are much braver than the local cops.

Yes, the incident I am talking about involved 10 motorcyclists. They were Hells Angels wanna bes . The Trooper cited them all for moving violations, and two for DWI . The two DWI's went to jail. The Trooper did it all by himself !
He, like many State Troopers I knew was very brave ! He would have laughed and scoffed at many of the cops that are reported on here. He was a very good Trooper. I was proud to call him a friend.
As to local cops, I have known many that were good !
The locals in this OP, are a bunch of wussies ! They should be ashamed !!

You left out "torture". The teen didn't want to be kidnapped, tortured or killed by the police. A valid concern, yes?
I just watched the video. Surprise, surprise. The kid is black and his parents are defending his behavior. Excuse me. His mama is defending his behavior. Where's his dad, working?

What did you do -- consult your little handbook of "Exactly How Many Cops To Send For Helmet Violations"?
Send 8, no trouble. Send one or two into that situation, you're asking for trouble.

You're right. It used to be that I wasn't forced to pay for the hospitalization of kids who suffered a concussion because they rode their bikes without a helmet.
Back then their parents had to foot the bill so they made sure their children were safe. Now they don't care.
Well, I do. If I have to pay, then I'm writing some rules to minimize my costs. Tell me I don't have to pay and they can ride naked for all I care.

Who was that kid? Did he have a rap sheet? Did he have a warrant out? Was he a suspect in a crime? Was he an illegal? Was he a terrorist? Did he have guns in the house?
You have no idea. But he did run from the police, so something's going on, right? Would you run from the police for a stupid helmet violation?

More bull from a clown who thinks he's a master bullshiter..
Who wrote the legislation th a forced us, "to pay for the hospitalization of kids" -- who did stupid acts? ---
The answer; --- socialists like misterwhite, of course...
Then these socialists give themselves the power to legislate more "rules to minimize my costs".
"Tell me I don't have to pay and they can ride naked for all I care",_--- Is a flat out lie.. -- Legislating morality is yet another of the misterwhites crowds prime goals...

No mention was made by the cops concerning outstanding warrant(s) or that he was a suspect in any crime.
They did however lie when they coaxed him out of the house saying they were just going to issue a ticket for the helmet infraction.

Correct. But no one knew that at the time. Given that he ran away from the cops, it's natural to assume he had something to hide.
"They did however lie when they coaxed him out of the house saying they were just going to issue a ticket for the helmet infraction."
The didn't lie. He was issued a ticket for the helmet infraction. Then he was arrested for fleeing the police.

" You have no idea. "
And neither do you.
My SP friends would laugh at you, and tell you to stick to tending to expired meters, and leave the policing to adults !!

Correct. But I would error on the side of caution, sending multiple officers. You would error on the side of stupidity, and assume he was a sweet, innocent child.

Captain " For What ?"
Misterwhite: " He was riding a bicycle without a helmet "
Captain: " "You are the dumbest M Fer here" Did you really go through the academy ?" " Tell you what dipshit, your on Meter Maid duty, until you retire. Turn in your service sidearm, you don't need it!!! "
ROFLMAO !!!!!

LOL... that's anarchist code for running from the police.
I stopped reading this piece of shit article there. It's a shame, because maybe the officers stepped over the line somewhere in this incident... but now I could give two shits after reading yella agenda driven bullshit like that.

Using a show of force to prevent a neighborhood riot -- per departmental policy.
The suspect ran for no reason, leading us to believe he was hiding something. For all we knew he could have recently murdered someone.
You wouldn't want us to simply let him go without investigating, would you ... Captain?

Captain: Well, DID he murder anyone ? Since you didn't charge him with murder, apparently he did not ! And after this big line of shit from you, the only charge you could use was "running " and the biggie " not wearing a helmet ". Boy, you think your just a regular Elliot Ness, LOL.
Your just rattling off a pile of BS to TRY to cover your sorry ass. You failed.
While you were running down this new " John Dillinger ", simply for an easy chicken shit "No Helmet " citation, your precinct had other crimes which rate a much higher priority towards public safety. For example, the 87 year old woman that got mugged for her SS Check while you and your 7 buddies were playing Johnny "Bad Ass" with that kid for no helmet. Yeah, you and those dumb shits stopped a regular crime wave. /sarc I am sure the old lady will think your sense of priorities is fucked up !!!!! Turns out she is the Chief's Aunt. You can apologize to her when she gets out of the hospital.
Oh, and here is a message to you from the Chief:
The Chief : "Whitey, you are one dumb fuck. You are not only an embarrassment to yourself, you are an embarrassment to the Department, and to the citizens of this city !! You contribute nothing to reducing crime in our city. Forget the meter maid assignment. You are not smart enough to handle that !! Today, you will immediately turn in all Department equipment / uniforms in your possession to the Department Supply Sergeant. You will then report to the city garage. From then on you will spend the rest of your career washing city garbage trucks. Never again will you wear a City Police Uniform. Also, your salary will be adjusted to be commensurate with your new position. " S/The Chief

Well, Captain, how were we supposed to know that at the time? He ran. That's suspicious behavior. Perhaps we should check that out. If he's clean we let him go.
"For example, the 87 year old woman that got mugged for her SS Check while you and your 7 buddies were playing Johnny "Bad Ass" with that kid for no helmet."
Well, DID she get mugged? Since the article made no mention of that, apparently she did not!
