apparently Turkish troops supported Daesh when Daesh retook Palmyra. Can we expect a fresh assault on Allepo by the Turks. This is becoming weird, the Turks are attacking Daesh in Iraq and siding with the FSA in Syria which means they are being opportunist in the hope of offsiding the Kurds and preventing the formation of a Kurdish state

Why should this surprise you? It certainly has never to me. For us to even think that Turkey is one of US allies is discomforting to know. Turkey has been supplying weapons to ISIS. https://www.rt.com/news/338038-isis-weapons-turkey-churkin/

I didn't say it surprised me other than the logistics of moving Turkish troops from the Syrian border to Palmyra. Turkey is opposed to ASSad and therefore not surprising to find thier troops opposing Syrian forces
