A new Associated Press poll released today found after months of media and GOP establishment attacks a majority of Americans overwhelmingly view Trump negatively.

Seven in 10 people, including close to half of Republican voters, have an unfavorable view of Donald Trump.

Six in 10 people have an unfavorable view of Ted Cruz even though the liberal media has not started its campaign of destruction against the Texas senator.

Grandma Hillary has a 55% unfavorable rating.

Trump is wildly popular with Middle Class voters but that doesn’t impress the Beltway elites.

Ronald Reagan’s favorable rating was also at 30% back in March 1980. The GOP elites at the time also worried he could never win.

Ronald Reagan’s favorable rating was also at 30% back in March 1980.

"Trump’s favorable rating among the general electorate is, on average, 30 percent. His unfavorable rating is a sky-high 63 percent. In other words, a lot more people dislike Trump than like him. The American public was more evenly split on Reagan at a comparable point in the 1980 campaign. According to an April 1980 Cambridge Reports survey, 39 percent of Americans had a favorable view of Reagan, and 44 percent had an unfavorable view. Reagan’s net favorability rating was 28 percentage points higher than Trump’s is." - fivethirtyeight.com/featu...rump-is-no-ronald-reagan/

GatewayPundit's link doesn't say what Reagan's March 1980 UNfavorability rating was; conservatively (no pun intended) it was no higher than 53%, assuming that all of his 9-point March-to-April favorability gain came from unfavorables. So his favorable-unfavorable gap was 10 points smaller than Trump's - and Trump can't win that back from undecideds because they make up only 7%.
