Computer control of the human mind. To even suggest that such a thing could be possible is to risk being relegated to the ranks of the insane. Despite the notion that the idea is patently absurd, the truth is that it is not only feasible, but the technology which could make it possible has already been demonstrated. Read more>>
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb
What about the rapture? My personal belief (I believe based on scripture) is that there is no rapture and that those verses that people say are the rapture are actually part of the second coming.
Also Matthew chapter 24 doesn't mention a rapture.
The rapture is mentioned in 2nd Thessalonians 2:10-12:
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
I believe that the "strong delusion" represents more than one delusion. The word delusion is also plural I believe.
See see my views on the pre-tribulation rapture, see the series I have written at: http://www.examiner.com/x-37026-Bible-Prophecy-Examiner~y2010m2d20-Part-One--The- pretribulation-rapture-fact-or-fiction
The strong delusion is believing in a heirarchy of ghosts.
There is no God or Gods. Good and evil reside in people on their own accord. Were man not an inherently interdependent social animal he'd have killed himself off a few milleniums ago.
