2.4 Billion Workers are Exposed to Excessive Heat
In August, the World Health Organization said 2.4 billion workers were in danger of a heat stroke, and excessive heat has caused more deaths worldwide than any other weather-related event. [And not just in the tropics anymore -- this year, southern Europe experienced the hottest and deadliest summer on record]. Scientists fear that we have reached the point of no return and are now experiencing the Earth’s sixth mass extinction.
Many animal species are already extinct because of the excessive heat from man-made global warming (last plague # 4). The scientists say that, unless steps are taken to stop the warming of the Earth, and really soon, up to half of the Earth’s species will become extinct. Many species, from frogs to rhinos are already extinct. Some scientists are saying that up to half of us humans may also die from the scorching heat and related weather events.
It brings to mind the prophecy of Jesus found in the Gospels, “Two men will be in the field, one life will be taken [to meet his maker] and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill, one will be taken, the other left.” In the Apocalypse (11:18) given to us by Jesus, the purpose of the last plagues is said to be to kill ‘those who destroy the Earth.’
Yet there are many Christians who believe they will be taken away and the bad guys will be left. There are several “Left Behind” books and movies that say that – but it is the opposite of what Jesus said. In the original Greek, He said His followers will be left. Jesus also said, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth” (Mattew 5:5).
After the last plagues are mitigated and all the bad guys – those who destroy the earth – are taken away, then those who are left will get to enjoy a thousand years of heaven on Earth in the “Day of the Lord.” But it is up to God’s followers to stop the global warming and fix everything that is out of kelter with the way God perfectly created the Earth. As Jesus said, “Look neither here nor there for the Kingdom of God — for the Kingdom of God is within you!” (Luke 17:20-21)
In the Revelation to John, the 7 last plagues are given to the seven angels by the 4th living creature – which is the US Church. It reflects the fact that the US is the leader of the free world, and we are one of two mega-polluters of the earth. Also, as the 4th Christian horseman to rule the Earth, we are dropping the great hail of plague 7 from our warplanes.
Also in August, President Trump gutted the EPA and suspended our anti- pollution laws. The only hope for the US (and the world) is for some of Trump’s yes-men to be voted out of office in the mid-term races in 2026. We need a 3rd party.

The Earth is hotter now than in the time of the dinosaurs -- 60 million years ago. Bill Gates is crazy.
If the mmgw trend is not reversed, and soon, there will be no more ice at the poles, just green vegetation, and Manhatten and the Trump Tower will be 20 foot under water. Same with most of Florida and Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort. His grandchildren will have nothing left to inherit except maybe a Casino in Las Vegas, already underwater (financially).
The only Trump family member with any sense is Ivanka who has seen the handwriting on the wall, and is trying her best to reason with her Dad. And that's a tough job.

Great cartoon there.
But Trump actually makes me happy on most issues. Everything except taking us out of the Paris agreement (again) and gutting the EPA and taking away the tax credit for buying an EV.
I commended him for bombing the Ayatollah's underground nuclear weapons sites with "exceedingly great" hailstones (fulfilling Apocalypse 16:21).
In the past, I commended him for sealing the border and trying to stop the inflow of illegal drugs and criminals.
So Trump is mixed bag, and I criticize him only when criticism is due.
And based on the election results Tuesday, Trump is no longer going to be able to get his way on everything after the mid terms in '26-- Thank God.

I still think you are over-estimating the impact Man-Made CO-2 emissions on global temperatures...a mass misconception that has already cost America $Trillions in misguided investments in unreliable and overly expensive energy alternatives.

Thanks for the clarification. But don't worry, I still like your cartoons.
Especially the one about the US needing a third political party (which we need now more than ever to combat the hatred expressed by both major parties for the other one which encourages assassination attempts, etc).
I recently bought a new color printer and have expanded my newsletter by a few pages which allows more room for cartoons. (And several readers have said I need to add a little humor).
In the next edition, I'm planning on including a follow-up article on school shootings and what Texas is doing about it. Our governor (and congress, the AG, etc.) is requiring all public schools to prominently display the ten commandments, and teach other Bible verses such as the Golden Rule, which was also taught by Confucius.
But the Galveston School district is refusing to display the ten commandments and has been sued by the Texas attorney general. That is especially upsetting to me because my grandchildren and nephews, etc. attend school in Galveston County, as do the children of many of my readers.
Almost needless to say, Galveston ISD has hired ACLU lawyers to defend the liberal schoolboard. Also, the ACLU recently forced Harris County to remove the Ten Commandments from the front of the County courthouse in Houston, even though they are prominently displayed in front of the the US Supreme Court Building in Washington DC.
So, do you have an appropriate cartoon about the ACLU?
