{Are there 7 Deadly Sins?} I’ve heard people refer to the “7 Deadly Sins,” but I haven’t been able to find that sort of list in Scripture.

It isn’t in Scripture. It’s Catholic doctrine devised from Scripture and reason, first listed by Pope Gregory I in the 500’s, and.emphasized by St. Thomas Aquinas was n the 1200s.

The Seven Deadly Sins are: Pride Greed Lust Envy Gluttony Wrath Sloth

There are , likewise, Seven Cardinal Virtues, that aren’t listed in the Bible either. They are: Humility Charity Chastity Patience Temperance Kindness Diligence

The opposites of the Seven Deadly Sins.

So it is made up. Got ya.

The Catholics didn't only change the 10 commandments but made up a lot of shit.

I'm not saying those things aren't sins. I'm just saying that isn't what they are titled according to God.

So it is kind of deceptive. Since all sins are deadly.
