Satan then saw another way to lure men to himself by offering to help men override the curse. Roundup ready crops by Monsanto (yeah, sounds like my satan) are one way to make growing food "easy", but with a huge price, of course.

The prevailing globalised agrifood model is built on unjust trade policies, the leveraging of sovereign debt, population displacement and land dispossession. It fuels commodity monocropping and food insecurity as well as soil and environmental degradation.

It is responsible for increasing rates of illness, nutrient-deficient diets, a narrowing of the range of food crops, water shortages, chemical runoffs, increasing levels of farmer indebtedness, the undermining and destruction of local communities and the eradication of biodiversity.

So here we are today. All around me my indolent land owner neighbors are buying their food from the grocery store (BlackRock). Their pastures and barns are empty of protein sources (cattle)...and when Blackrock decides to cut off the food, there will be nothing for people to eat.

Uncle Klaus is suggesting that there will be bug farms to feed us, but I think this is just another lie.

I think the bugs he has in mind are the bugs we will hunt for in the barren landscape.
