A US military base in southern Syria was targeted in a drone attack on Friday that wounded two members of a US-backed militia.
US Central Command said the base at Al-Tanf was attacked by three “one-way attack drones.” CENTCOM said two of the drones were shot down, but one hit the compound, injuring two members of the Syrian Free Army, a group the US backed in its failed regime change effort against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
