Hello everyone.

I talked to Jim again.

He needs us to pray for a more positive attitude.

I hate to post this, but he started crying. He told me he loved me and I was also his family.

He tried to joke about Schiff, but his heart wasn’t in it.

He asked me to Thank everyone for the prayes and to let you know he loves all of you.

He feels he has let everyone down. I asked why; he told me that FReepers have always supported him and he got sick and can’t be there for all of you.

I told him he needs to get well and get his a$$ back to work.

Not sure when he will get to come home because he needs around the clock care. He said he cannot raise his arms.

Wish this was a more uplifting update. :(

Please continue to pray for his full recovery.

Jim is seriously ill. He isn't getting better. I pray for him but I'm wondering if he'll make it.

I always thought JustAmy was JimRob's wife's screen name. I met them both 3-4 times at various DC FReeps, but they were always brief conversations and Jim's wife rarely had much to say at all. In fact, I didn't recall that Sheila was her name...thought it was Amy...smh.

That said, Boris...the fact that Jim's wife passed last year may have a good bit to do with his health taking a turn for the worse. Those two always seemed like a matching pair that were always meant to be together. And while I will continue to pray for JimRob's rapid recovery, I also believe there is solace to be found in the realization that Jim's eventual passing will result in these two being together for eternity.

Regards and thank you for the updates...been over 17 years since I lurked on FR.com and except for folks like you and Fred and goldilucky, I don't really keep in contact with any folks with active FReeper accounts. I want that to change before this Fall's election season, so if anybody knows how I can contact any of the active DC FReepers, I would greatly appreciate it...MUD

Jim has a bacterial infection from pressure sores. He has been in a wheelchair for quite awhile. It's so important to not stay in 1 position when you are bedridden or in a wheelchair.

Chris Robinson gave an update. Sounds like things are improving!

"The doctor called awhile later, and said that he’s off the pain medication and most importantly, that they have started him on a liquid diet! Before, he wasn’t eating at all. It’s great progress!"

I gifted him a personalized Louisville Slugger many moons ago. I'm pretty sure it said "FreeRepublic.com" rather than Jim Robinson. I met him briefly several times, and his two sons who look like Mutt and Jeff.

If I met Jim's kids, I did not know them as that. For awhile there, I would've sworn BobJ was JR's heir, but even he got the heave-ho from the ModSquad. I reckon I need to go lurk on FR.com to see if there still is an active DC FReeper group...MUD

Awesome gift for a genuine fighter...I realize JimRob compromised his principles for the bigger payout on occasion, but he really has accomplished quite a lot over the years via his FR.com contraption. I have a framed picture of JimRob and I together out front of Congress, with Jim waving an American flag and me holding my "Re- Impeach Slick Willie...NOW!!" placard from circa 2002...lol!!

Not sure is Jim's health permits many cross- country flights to attend DeeCee FReeps, but if I knew JR was going to be in DC, then heck yeah, I would roadtrip up there to see as many old FReepers as I could...I love the FReepers I met in person...it was those anonymous ModSquad ZOT-kitties that turned FR.com into yet another RINO outpost...MUD
