Title: Fence goes up around GraceLife Church in Alberta after health officials "physically close" facility For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17 I see that once again you “cherry-picked” a verse from the Bible, trying to impose only the ideas or doctrine you want others to believe. Rather than you considering “the whole counsel of God,” you continually pick a few select verses from various books of the Bible whenever you try to prove some point or present a case in the strongest possible way. In doing so, you completely ignore or minimize texts from the Bible which disprove or contradict the idea or theme you are trying to advocate – like this one where the Bible speaks decisively to this issue: Romans 13:1-2 says: "Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow." “Fence goes up …” Christian fanaticism is defined as “excessive, irrational zeal by professing Christians about their faith.” “EXCESSIVE and IRRATIONAL” …

Obey the government

Christians are to obey the government until they must choose between obeying the government...and obeying God.

Forsaking not the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25

I knew that the shuttering of the church would make you happy. But don't overlook the second part of Peter's warning: "what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?"

Once God is done chastening His church...He's coming for you.

This is overkill

Christians are to obey the government until they must choose between obeying the government...and obeying God. Quote the book name, chapter number and verse number along with the name of the Bible translation where it states that “Christians must choose between obeying the government and obeying God.” You cannot – because there is no such thing in the Bible. Had there been, then youwould have quoted that instead of this verse: Forsaking not the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25 “There you go again” – to appropriately quote the famous line from Ronald Regan. You are once more just pulling a Scripture quote out of your ass, because Hebrews Hebrew 10:25 in NO ways states that “Christians must choose between obeying the government...and obeying God.” You need to stop with “cherry picking” inappropriate Scripture and try to make it fit your cause. While personal contact with other Christians is not merely suggested by the Bible, it is commanded. Relationship with other believers is one way to be encouraged to live out the faith. This is not only necessary for discipleship, but so that Christians can meet each other's needs, to encourage and inspire. The verse you quoted however does in no way set the conditions for those meetings, and again – it definitely does not say that “Christians must choose between obeying the government...and obeying God.” You will find that many churches in Alberta were able to fulfill the “obligation to fellowship with other Christians” – yet comply with the health requirements to prevent the spread of the virus. They were not requited to – as you say – “choose between obeying the government...and obeying God.” They obeyed both the government and God – Eh? Of course, they did. Under the present governmental health requirement, some are unable meet in church as they once did, They cannot sing, they cannot mingle or share the peace with a holy grasp. They may either sit at home watching streamed services or they can still meet at social distance from each other wearing face masks in church. Yet, they are not deprived of all fellowship, as attenuated as it is. I knew that the shuttering of the church would make you happy. You don’t KNOW any such thing – You really need to stop making shit up. But don't overlook the second part of Peter's warning: "what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" Scripture cherry picked and used as justification ior your personal belief means nothing to me. Once God is done chastening His church...He's coming for you. Threatening people in the name of God is a sign of mental illness. https://themysteryofchrist.wordpress.com/2012/11/28/threatening-people- in-the-name-of-god-is-a-sign-of-mental-illness/ … and … What does the Bible say about threatening? https://www.openbible.info/topics/threatening

You cannot – because there is no such thing in the Bible.

Acts 5:27-29

27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Why did The chicken cross The road […] "Why did the chicken cross the road" is an example of anti-humor, in that the curious setup of the joke leads the listener to expect a traditional punchline, Instead, this exemplary generic joke to which most people know the answer, and has been repeated has once again been changed – as it has been numerous times over the course of history. Crossing the street or road is likely to cause the chicken's death and so it will be "on the other side", is a sad euphemism for death. Also, Internet users have suggested that the joke may alternatively be interpreted as being about suicide, with "the other side" referring to the afterlife. You da man, Boris – you are the very first to use it to say: a double minded man is unsTable in all his ways

Acts 5:27-29 27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, 28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. 29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. “There you go again” – Taking verse out of context when it was applicable to what happened only at that time and only under that circumstance. That verse in no way means that: “Christians must choose between obeying the government and obeying God.” The verse you quoted, placed in context: The apostles stand before the Sanhedrin, explaining why they broke a direct command to stop preaching about Jesus. When the Sanhedrin first gave the order, Peter and John responded, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge" (Acts 4:19). Peter and John stood before the priests, elders, and scribes of the Mosaic law and told them the restriction was contrary to what God wanted. And yet, that same group seems confused as to why Peter and John rejoined fellow Christians and continued their preaching once released (Acts 5:12–16). This is only about the apostles being commanded to stop preaching about Jesus. It is not – AND WAS NEVER INTENDED TO BE – a general “authorization” for someone like you to think that you can to “choose between obeying the government and obeying God” anytime and anyway you chose to do so. You really need to stop trying to make the Bible: “Your way or no way.”

You have noticed that all of your posts to me – as well as my replies to your posts – following your post here have all been summarily deleted for unexplained reasons. The later exchanges you and I made to each other on 04/09 and 04/10 were the ones deleted. As to why our posts to each other these last two days were deleted – that is a mystery. Furthermore, to remove those posts after they have been up for two days when everyone had the opportunity to read them makes even less sense. One way I can try to explain our missing post exchanges may be that it can easily be seen as Stone’s way of trying to get at me. But unfortunately for you – and the integrity of this forum – he took you down with me. He did that with great vengeance and reflects his severe lack of intelligence and desperate inability to dispute my posts or debate me. All he can ever do is behave immaturely like a petulant child and delete the posts after the fact. There are never any wise rebuttals. Stone has in the past usually left your posts standing and simply removed my replies, thereby leaving my posts blank. He obviously didn’t like – as no one did – seeing the many blanks when he deleted the content of my posts and I made posts with no content to accent the fallacy of his deeds. We can see that Stone has progressed to the next level of extreme censorship. Since he simply could not delete my posts and have the numbers missing – he therefore had to delete your posts to me to remove my replies to your posts. It is tragic that Stone is now also censoring your posts. I feel that Stone’s censorship has gone entirely too far. It is an indication that this chit-channel has hit rock bottom when you and I are no longer allowed to exchange posts. Stone has been on a death wish to destroy this chit-chat channel for some time. Stone once stated to me that he doesn’t care if everyone leaves. And with that attitude, the lonely remaining few eventually no doubt will. Yesterday, it was only me. Today, it is both you and I. Who will be next and where will it all go from here? With the denial now of your and my ability to freely and openly exchange views with each other, there simply is no reason for me to post anything. You may be able to tolerate this censorship – I however find it appalling. I have stayed here this long only to exchange posts with you and watchman. Because I continued to learn from your posts. Not so much as what you posted, but that I would do deep research after reading your posts and see things I never knew. It is truly unfortunate that the opportunity to exchange posts with you and learn from you is now lost. I sincerely thank you for the many posts where you expressed your view points and opinions, while allowing me to share mine. I have infinitely enjoyed those times I was able to openly state my opinions, share some facts and freely express myself. I was of course disappointed at the times I was stifled from doing that by unexplained censorship when suddenly – POOF, the posts were GONE. The following message stands today at the end of the mission statement on the Home Page of Liberty’s Flame at https://libertysflame.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi – The discussion boards are not limited to the topics listed; any news that one feels needs to be discussed is welcome at Liberty's Flame. This site was built upon the idea of free speech so everyone is welcome to come and discuss and debate the issues on hand. So, it is just as President Reagan challenged Gorbachev to "Tear down this wall” – that I now challenge Stone to “Take down this BIG LIE.” Note: I sent this to you and everyone by PM since I feel sure Stone will soon delete this post on the open forum.
