Saturday is the 40-year anniversary of the USA beating the Soviet Union 4-3 in the Miracle on Ice.

As you all know, the Miracle on Ice is my favorite sports moment of all time, and it’s one of the greatest moments in the history of this beautiful country.

The Soviet Union was an unstoppable juggernaut in the sport of hockey. Going into the 1980 games, the USSR had won the last four gold medals.

I remember this great moment in time. Seems like yesterday...

The team was on stage with President Trump at the Vegas Rally!

I remember working as a stock clerk at my local BeLo grocery store and receiving periodic updates from my buddy working at the restaurant next door. But I missed the whole damn thing LIVE and while I've seen the highlights, it's not the same. Now, if you wanna talk about how the Rooskies stole the gold medal from the U.S. men's basketball team in '72...lol.

Yes I believe in miracles...MUD

That's a shame, Mud. I'm no a sports fan but I do watch the Olympics. I can still see and feel that moment. It was spectacular.

Just watching the attached video brought the chill back to my spine...lol. And the video glosses over that the U.S. still had to win again (against Yugoslavia?) to earn the gold...I did see that.
