The Official Version of 9/11 goes something like this:
Directed by a beardy-guy from a cave in Afghanistan, nineteen hard-drinking, coke-snorting, devout Muslims enjoy lap dances before their mission to meet Allah. Using nothing more than craft knifes, they overpower cabin crew, passengers and pilots on four planes.
And hangover or not, they manage to give the world's most sophisticated air defence system the slip.
Unfazed by leaving their "How to Fly a Passenger Jet" guide in the car at the airport, they master the controls in no-time and score direct hits on two towers, causing THREE to collapse completely.
The laws of physics fail, and the world watches in awe as asymmetrical damage and scattered low temperature fires cause steel-framed buildings to collapse symmetrically through their own mass at free-fall speed, for the first time in history.
Despite their dastardly cunning and superb planning, they give their identity away by using explosion-proof passports, which survive the destruction of steel and concrete and fall to the ground where they are quickly discovered lying on top of the mass of debris.
Meanwhile in Washington
Hani Hanjour, having previously flunked Cessna flying school, gets carried away with all the success of the day and suddenly finds incredible abilities behind the controls of a jet airliner. Instead of flying straight down into the large roof area of the Pentagon, he decides to show off a little. Executing an incredible 270 degree downward spiral, he levels off to hit the low facade of the Pentagon. Without ruining the nicely mowed lawn and at a speed just too fast to capture on video.
In the skies above Pennsylvania
Desperate to talk to loved ones before their death, some passengers use sheer willpower to connect mobile calls that would not be possible until several years later.
And following a heroic attempt by some to retake control of Flight 93, the airliner crashes into a Pennsylvania field leaving no trace of engines, fuselage or occupants except for the standard issue Muslim terrorist bandana.
During these events
President Bush continues to read "My Pet Goat" to a class of primary school children.
In New York
World Trade Center leaseholder Larry Silverstein blesses his own foresight in insuring the buildings against terrorist attack only six weeks previously.
In Washington
The Neoconservatives are overjoyed by the arrival of the "New Pearl Harbor," the necessary catalyst for launching their pre-planned wars.

Not even close. This is simply yet another Deckard-posted author-conceived fantasy work created in fictional prose. It shows an attempted effort to destroy the great importance of the setting in the truth itself with a desire to imperil evil into a historically accurate story. This malicious attempt to distort validated facts with intentional subjection in an effort to try and make something seem contemptuous and dismissive can in itself be held up to ridicule.

Neither of us said it "melts" steel. It will soften it, though, to the point where the steel cannot support the load.

A question which I will humbly attempt to answer, with the best reason this old mind can spawn.
Let me begin, please.
The author used the words something like this as a qualifying phrase. When the author said that the official version of 9/11 goes something like this that something he presented was purely and simply his fantasy.
Something like this means of or pertaining to a vague situation and having only subtle qualities the use of imagination or fantasizing.
If he didnt know it be exactly like this then his something like this meant that he was recalling the the official bersion of 9/11 situation only vaguely. He is therefore composing a fantasy.
Fantasizing is of course imaginary, daydream-like satire scenarios that individuals play out in their heads.
Ergo The whole of something lis this is a complete fantasy.
I trust I have answered your question. While I think I may have been redundant at some times in doing so and ask that you please forgive me for that.

The welder also weakened the h-e-double hockey sticks out of that steel in multiple places when he welded ACROSS THE TOP of the I-beam @ 2:44 into the video.

In that less than 2 second time frame, how were you able come to the such a definitive conclusion that the welder was welding ACROSS THE TOP [ACROSS THE FLANGE] and that the welder did not know what the was doing?
When in the less than 2 seconds you observed, the welder may have in fact been only performing q tack weld according to qualified welding procedures and that he was a welder fully certified in the process?

This tells me that the people making this video weren't serious about conducting a test...it was more like a (over) dramatization.
This is why architects and engineers are needed. Maybe the folks making this video should have invited the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth to help them get things right.

Do you mind if I tell you the video you watched was never test and definitely not an over dramatization? It was pure and simple a demonstration, or experiment, with a designated purpose to answer the stated question: Can jet fuel fire weaken steel?
And it DEFINITELY did that You Betcha. it did!
For what purpose? The video was not intended in any way to replicate what happened in 9/11. It was you who pointed this out to me, wasnt it? Moreover, if the American Institute of Architects wants nothing to do with these clowns, then I can think of no reason anyone would want to.Besides, there is was no need for any or all of the 3060 asshole clowns in the AEfor9/11 group. Because Robert Abernathy, PhD, the Computational Analysist for Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center did an excellent job of showing what he wanted to show.
Which was: The HEAT from the right amount of jet fuel will definitely cause STEEL to WEAKEN.
Okay - Lets do a thorough review of the lessons we have learned:
A very good day, to you Sir.Hand Salute,

All 20 units at the building at 120 S. Fourth St. in Brooklyn's tony Williamsburg neighborhood were vacated by the city Department of Buildings on Tuesday because substandard steel columns trusses, beams and welds had left the structure unsafe.
...
I think we should not assume that the welds were proper or that the beams themselves were free of the kinds of impurities that could have contributed to the collapse. NYC has a lot of regulation and inspections for a reason: a lot of people in the construction business will cut every corner they can and use inferior materials.
And such practices may go completely unnoticed for many decades. Buildings like the WTC complex are so over-engineered that they were intended to withstand the impact of a jetliner.
But only if the materials were at their full load rating (proper steel beams) and assembled correctly by expert welders.
They certainly were in a big hurry to clean all that debris out of the WTC site and get it buried. And no one ever sampled those beams and truss elements in the wreckage to see if they were all up to snuff with building codes.
Despite its building codes and onerous inspections process, you can still find public works and buildings in NYC with concrete so adulterated that it is just a powdery substance you can punch a fist through it, softer than limestone. But it somehow passes inspections.
So it is worth considering that all this stuff about "jet fuel doesn't melt steel" is complete nonsense if the steel was impure or defective.

Heres (below) an interesting picture of what was called the Shanghai Jiaozhou Road Fire, a fire on 15 November 2010 that destroyed a 28-story high-rise apartment building in the city of Shanghai China, killing at least 58 people and injured more than 70. When I say destroyed, the building stood and the integrity of the steel remained
The deadliest skyscraper (used loosely) fire ever in history was the famous Triangle Shirt Waist Factory, which I wrote about intimately in one of my 70+ books. a total of 146 people were killed in a senseless fire. Escape exits were locked.
In spites of almost 100 skyscraper fires, many raging infernos lasting hours and days obliterating everything but the steel superstructure, no building has ever fallen from fire with the exceptions of New York City Ground Zero towers 1, 2 and building 7 on September eleventh, 2001.
The Tamweel fire in Dubai in November sent flames though many floors, causing extensive damage -- but the building did not fall
A high-rise building catches fire in a major city. All of its occupants are evacuated as fire crews arrive to put out the blaze. After a few hours, the flames spread across dozens of floors and in the end, the building remains standing. That was the story in 2012 in Dubai, the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as the Tamweel Building was added to the long list of skyscrapers that have withstood major fires. This stark contrast to the Twin Towers and WTC Building 7, the only steel framed skyscrapers in history, whose complete collapses have been officially blamed on fire, is causing more people to question the official 9/11 story.

The fictional Sherlock Holmes solved the crime in "Silver Blaze" by deducing it was the owner of the house who was the criminal. How did he know? Because the dog did not bark. The only person who could have committed the crime without arousing the dog was someone the dog knew as a friend; the dog's owner.
Inspector Gregory: "Is there any other point to which you would wish to draw my attention?"
Holmes: "To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."
"The dog did nothing in the night time"
"That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes.
From "The Adventure of Silver Blaze" by Arthur Conan Doyle
Now let us turn our Sherlockian logic on 9-11.
Hijacked aircraft were wandering across the eastern half of the country. In theory no-one could have known how many planes had been hijacked. In one of the numerous strange coincidences that occurred on 9-11, there was an ongoing NORAD drill simulating 30 aircraft hijacked by terrorists. Air Traffic Controllers did not know which targets were genuine hijacked planes and which were the simulations. Two genuine hijacked planes had crashed into the World Trade Center, Bush was at a publicized photo opportunity at Booker Elementary School, and there is an airport only four miles from this School.
The Sarasota Herald Tribune announced Bush's visit to Booker Elementary on September 8th, giving the 9-11 planners three days to include Bush as a target for a diving jetliner. Nobody could have safely assumed he was not a target.
1913: Congress authorized permanent [Secret Service] protection of the President and the statutory authorization for President-elect protection.
The Booker Elementary video shows the Secret Service did not rush in to remove the President to a secure location, or at least to the safety of the armored Presidential Limousine. That's their job. That's what they do in the case of a real surprise attack with many unknowns. They don't do anything else.
But the Secret Service did nothing. The dog did not bark.
Bush defenders try to explain Bush's inaction as his not wanting to upset the children. Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9-11" suggests Bush's inaction was due to his not being told to leave. But Michael Moore fails to follow that line of reasoning through to its logical conclusion; where were the people whose job it is to get the President to a place of safety in event of attack, the people who would have, SHOULD have, pulled Bush out of there, children and public appearances be damned!
Take a look back at how quickly the Secret Service moved when John Hinckley Jr. tried to assassinate President Reagan.
And now, Bush at Booker Elementary. White House aid Andy Carter informs Bush that the second plane has crashed into the second tower at the one minute mark. At that point, according to statements made by the government, everyone knows this is a terror attack. Where is the Secret Service protective detail? They should be in that video, grabbing the President and getting him to safety.
At Booker Elementary School on 9-11, the Secret Service did nothing. The dog did not bark.
If the events of 9-11 were truly a surprise to the United States Government then there is no way the Secret Service could have known there wasn't a hijacked or stolen plane heading towards Booker Elementary School that very second.
The Secret Service did nothing. The dog did not bark.
The Secret Service should be in that video, but they are not. It is clear from their inaction that they KNEW FOR A FACT THAT THE PRESIDENT WAS NOT A TARGET THAT DAY. And the only way they could know that is that the Secret Service and the White House knew ahead of time what the targets were for the 9-11 aircraft!
The dog did not bark because the criminal was its master.
Quod Erat Demonstradum, the Bush administration was part of the 9-11 plot.

Bush was in an elementary school with all the exits covered by his SS detail. That is not comparable to having someone actively shooting at a president at close range.
Trying to make such an argument is why no one takes you seriously. These two things are not remotely comparable to any adult.
The SS is a protection detail. They are not privy to national security secrets and status reports. Once they were alerted to unfolding terrorism (by the second plane striking WTC), they did evacuate Bush quickly and he was flown per the longstanding evacuation plan to the old SAC base in Omaha to receive a full briefing. His destination would have been elsewhere if a nuclear weapon had been used but Omaha was the right choice for the unfolding 9/11 situation. And all that was dictated by national security policy regarding the CIC, not by the Secret Service. You seem to have no grasp of how these various agencies work together and who is calling the shots in a given situation.
For all its recent problems with drinking, drugs, whoring, crashing cars drunkenly into the WH gates, the SS is just a pack of guard dogs, not a part of the national security establishment. After all, the SS is still responsible for catching all counterfeiters in addition to its more widely known job of protecting top politicians and protecting foreign ambassadors and embassies in D.C.
The Secret Service's initial responsibility was to investigate the counterfeiting of US currency, which was rampant following the American Civil War. The agency then evolved into the United States' first domestic intelligence and counterintelligence agency. Many of the agency's missions were later taken over by subsequent agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and IRS Criminal Investigation Division (IRS-CI).
Seen correctly, the Secret Service was the original national police agency, the permanent peacetime predecessor of the FBI and the CIA.
Tidbit: the bill from Congress to create the Secret Service, primarily to combat widespread counterfeiting, was on Lincoln's desk for his signature the night he was shot by John Wilkes Booth. Maybe Lincoln should have stayed home to do his work and sign that bill instead of gallivanting off to the Ford's Theater with the missus (who was a whacked-out bitch anyway).
