Ann Coulter Fires Back at Trump: ‘The Only National Emergency Is That Our President Is an Idiot’

Ann Coulter says she’s thankful President Trump distanced himself from her on Friday after he disappointed her once again by signing a bipartisan border deal while simultaneously declaring a national emergency to fund his wall.

“I haven’t spoken to her. I don’t follow her. I don’t talk to her, but the press loves to bring up the name Ann Coulter,” Trump told reporters from the Rose Garden Friday morning. “Probably if I did speak to her, she would be very nice, but I just don’t have time to speak to her,” he added, before saying he thinks she’s gone “off the reservation” when it comes to her increasingly loud criticism of him.

“He seems to think ‘the reservation’ is HIM, not his campaign promises,” Coulter tweeted following the press conference. But she had a lot more damning things to say during a radio interview with L.A.’s John Phillips and Jillian Barberie on KABC’s The Morning Drive show.

“Thank god he’s relieved me any responsibility for what he’s been doing,” Coulter told the radio hosts. “That was the biggest favor anyone could do for me today.” Declaring that “the country is over” now, she said she didn’t need a Tarot card reader to know that Trump would “totally f-over his base.”

The president's “mandate,” Coulter said, was to build the wall. And even though that’s what he plans to do by declaring a national emergency, she’s not happy about it. “The only national emergency is that our president is an idiot,” she said.

Proof that Trump is more than some old political career politician, scumbag... that tries to appease all the famous pundits ON BOTH SIDES.

Just the fact that he calls out Lying Ted during one month, and stand next to him during another month, regarding the wall, tells me that Trump won’t suck Republican dong, just because it’s republican.

There are a few Fox pundits that don’t like Trump, because HE’S AN OUTSIDER. The Eddie Munster looking Judge and this bitch, just naming two.

She earned a lot of credibility in, to much ridicule, accurately predicting Trump would win the R nomination on national TV. But Coulter is certainly demonstrating her extremist side by failing to acknowledge the reality of political powers that Trump has to deal with.

Not that I'm happy with everything Trump has done. Much of his foreign policy decisions suck, and I can only give limited leeway for the fact that he's mired in the swamp. But a US president is neither a king nor emperor (Though I sometimes wonder if we might be better off with one once every 20 years).

It's time for Coulter to sit down and shut up.

Trump has no time to waste in attempting to appeal to any one person's senses, with extremely few exceptions, notably, world leaders like Putin.

She makes a better ally than enemy.

Most people do. But only Ann Coulter can decide what she will be to whom, and she'll do it on her own schedule.

I never liked this woman and felt she was nothing but the mouthpiece for the fake Republican party. How dare she insult our president like this. Thank god we have Mr. Trump! He is about the only thing that makes sense in our country right now.
