Washington is already taking sides in the battle between President Trump and incoming Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, with Trump ally Sen. Rand Paul slamming the 2012 GOP presidential nominee.

Paul tweeted that Romney is a “Big Government Republican” and faux conservative.

In reacting to Romney’s attack in the Washington Post on Trump, Paul also made clear that he does not think Romney, who is still to be sworn in as a new senator, has any affinity for former President Reagan.

Paul tweeted this morning, “Like other Big Government Republicans who never liked Reagan, Mitt Romney wants to signal how virtuous he is in comparison to the President. Well, I’m most concerned and pleased with the actual conservative reform agenda @realDonaldTrump has achieved.”

Poster Comment:

Romney is a piece of shit. Rand Paul is the best Senator by a long shot. Hopefully Rand runs after Trump serves his 12 years. Yeah 12 years.

Why stop there? Why not make him "Dictator for Life"? You'd like that.

Just another reason why I refer to the rabid Trump supporters as "cultists"

Romney is a piece of shit.

Romney was 'poison lite' while Obozo was unadulterated poison! Now President Trump has the job of trying to put the nation back together again in spite of the evil, treacherous leftist Democrat-Communist Party and their RINO co- conspirators.

You wouldn’t be such a bitter asshole if you could pick a presidential choice that has a fucking chance to win.

Romney is a piece of shit.

Didn't you vote for Romney in 2011 for the US President 2012-2016 term against 0bama? Why the change in perspective NOW? He was a POS then as he is now. He is a fuckin' globalist pig.

hondo68 didn't vote for "Mitt." But you did in 2011 just like Stone.

One of the truths of these forums is there are records.

Why the change in perspective NOW?

One word, dumb shit. VIABILITY.

Something you Paultards don’t understand. Your inability to understand that concept is the reason why Obama, after a horrendous first term, was a TWO TERM POTATO.

But no moral character?

We could be talking about Thomas Jefferson himself, time traveled to 2020... but none of that means an ounce of shit IF HE AIN’T VIABLE.

How the fuck can you NOT understand that?

Listen, simpleton. One last time. If there are only TWO viable candidates... Mitt or the Kenyan jungle ape, then voting for ANYONE BUT MITT is a fucking vote for the APE.

You are dumber than a dried tampon.

#17: Hondo68    To: GrandIsland, Mittens the loser, not viable (#16)

At no time was Mittens ever viable in a national election, douchebag!

Massholes, Mormons and morons may vote for him, but he's hated nationally as well as worldwide.

Mitt wasn't a viable option.

Edit: a lot of people believe in the classick cliché of: "the best of two evils." I don't. I could give a shit. I care about electing the best candidates.

I voted for Ron Paul.

two clowns (GrandIsland, A K A Stone)

Typical of the GOP brand of partisan hacks who got Obama elected twice. Their candidates in '08 & '12 were so bad that they were sure losers in a national election. Worse than the two time loser Bob Dole, who gave us Jimmy Carter & Bill Clinton in '76 & '96 respectively, .

But they tell us that they're better than SOMEONE. McCain & Romney aren't better than anyone, they're not viable in the USA.

Would Ron Paul Have Defeated Barack Obama? An Educated Guess

Electoral College: The result of the above analysis is that Paul defeats Obama by a 342−196 margin, compared to the 332−206 margin by which Obama defeated Romney. The difference is that Paul manages to win Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, all of which were lost by Romney.

Also, Paul does not lose any state that Romney won. This is a net gain of 136 electoral votes for the Republican candidate. In terms of states carried, Paul carries 36 and Obama carries 14+DC, while Obama carried 26+DC and Romney carried 24 in the real 2012 race. This produces the following electoral map.
