That’s a de facto banning that Press Secretary Sarah Sanders says is because of the way the longtime Trump foil interacted with a White House intern during the post-midterm elections press conference

“President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration,” Sanders said in a statement this evening. “We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern. This conduct is absolutely unacceptable.”

Acosta responded online quickly, calling Sanders assertion “a lie.” Even a brief glance at footage of the incident in question clearly shows Acosta this morning was rather gently trying to keep the microphone in his own hands at first to continue pursuing his query with Trump:

CNN backed its reporter tonight and said in a statement that “Jim Acosta has our full support The Ted Turner founded outlet added that Acosta’s pass was pulled “in retaliation for his challenging questions at today’s press conference” and not over a “fraudulent …incident that never happened.”

“This unprecedented decision is a threat to our democracy and the country deserves better,” CNN asserted.

NBC News’ Josh Lederman called the White House’s actions “a major escalation in Trump’s campaign against the press.” CNN producer Allie Malloy spoke up for her colleague as well:

Poster Comment:

He was asked numerous times that his time was up and to pass the mic. Instead, he tried to grandstand. There were a lot of other press people there. Trump should have just said “this is over” and walk away.

His press pass was pulled because he's an asshole. It should have been done long ago. CNN has plenty of other reporters.

Next on the list -- Yamiche Alcindor from federally-funded PBS for making a racist accusation by calling Trump a white nationalist.

Trump should have just said “this is over” and walk away.

That's what a loser would do. I'm no Trump fan but he's at least smart enough not to cede control of the press conference to the opposition.

Um, it did happen. The White House said, “We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern."

Look at the video for crying out loud. Acosta's left arm pushed down on the intern's arm to keep her from the microphone.

Figures. More fake news from CNN.

During the press conference Trump told the House Democrats in plain language that if nothing happens in the next two years he will blame them since they're in control.

I predict that House Democrats will be responsible for reelecting Trump in 2020.

" Trump is right to spar with the phony news outlets! "

Agree. Next time one of those clowns assaults one of the interns, the intern should use pepper spray on them, or have a SS Uniform Officer take down the asshole "reporter / agitator "

CNN can keep Abilio James "Jim" Acosta assigned as their White House reporter, and he can report from Pennsylvania Avenue, on the outside looking in.

Should be outside looking in. He can try to ask questions by writing them on a piece of shirtboard then holding them up to the window.

Trump also said that they can begin investigations against those empty-headed fabricators of lies thrown at Kavanaugh.

White House Posted Video That Exaggerated Incident With CNN Reporter, Social-Media Firm Says

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted a video of a press-briefing altercation involving a CNN reporter that appears to have been edited in a way that makes the reporter’s actions look more aggressive, according to an analysis by a social-media intelligence firm Storyful (owned by News Corp, the same company that owns FOX News).

They're analyzing this video as though it were the Zapruder film.

He put his hand on her in an aggressive manner. Period.

Trump is right to spar with the phony news outlets!

And the MSM has the balls to ask why the President doesn't do more press conferences.

This one was an embarrassment for the press. I have never seen so much incivility and disrespect.
