For the next couple of weeks or more I ma going to do a study on:

1 Corinthians 11:

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

With emphasis on verse 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

what do you want to know? the import of the Scripture is clear, those who do not stay on the path and are, shall we say, Sunday Christians, are unworthy and suffer illness in this life. When we take the communion we must do it understanding the true meaning of Christ's sacrifice. You might want to contemplate the message to the seven churches in Revelation as you ponder these passages and it might make being unworthy clearer

It means treat your body like a temple and not a garbage can. You are what you eat. You body needs proper nutrients to stay healthy just as you acquire knowledge to feed your soul. Therefore, food is like knowledge in that you can't live without it. Acquire it with strong discernment.
