Monday on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, responded to attacks from committee counterpart Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who described Nunes as “one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.”

Nunes defiantly said he would not be threatened by the opposition party and accused the Democratic Party of having “completely destroyed the FBI and DoJ.”

“We’re not going to be threatened by the Democrats,” Nunes said. “They’re the ones that have all this blood on their hands. They’re the ones that have completely destroyed the FBI and DoJ. How did they do that? That did that by digging up dirt — the Clinton campaign dug up dirt, but it into a dossier and fed it into the FBI. And the FBI used our counterintelligence capabilities against a political campaign. That’s what happened here. So, the Democrats in the House and the Senate — they continue to want to obfuscate. They continue to want to cover up.”

“If we had listened to the Democrats, we would have never found out Hillary Clinton, and the Democrats paid Christopher Steele to generate this dirt on President Trump,” he added. “So, I tend to ignore everything that they say.

We continue to do our work every day, day in and day out, to get to the truth. And gradually we’re getting to the truth. And I believe as these hearings take place and testimony is given to the Congress, I think it will be a much-needed sunlight in this investigation. I think the American people are being deceived — who is telling the truth, and who is not telling the truth.”

I believe as these hearings take place and testimony is given to the Congress, I think it will be a much-needed sunlight in this investigation.

Sunlight. Sunlight is good. But we need indictments against everyone involved -- -- -- and some jail time would be nice.

Yup...

And to make these indictments stick, and jailtime binding, the amount of sunlight needs to be BLINDING.

Nunes, Jordan, Gohmert, etal (Gohmert rightly believes Rothenstein is STILL directing illegal surveillance against HIM and others) MUST be totally focused and maintain outrage and will. They can comprise. And neither can Trump.

They all need to go after this as though its life and death -- which IS the case; Because IF these Deep State Traitors, 0bama, Jarrett and Hitlery are exonerated and cut loose, they WILL re-organize and show no mercy in exacting their own bloody, murderous revenge.

And THAT would only be the START.

The Dems would not hesitate in frog-marching DOZENS of Republicans toward the Fed Pen...for far lesser offenses. McConnell and Ryan would have supported them.

Maybe THAT'S what 0bama fantasized about in a recently released book by Ben Rhodes (former Obama deputy national security adviser).

According to Rhodes when Trump won the Presidency; Said by 0bama shortly after the election while he rode in a motorcade in Lima, Peru:

‘I Wonder Whether I Was 10 or 20 Years Too Early’".

More arrogance and presumptive pomposity:

As Obama was riding in his presidential limousine with some of his aides, he asked them "What if we were wrong?"

He had read a column asserting that liberals had forgotten how important identity was to people and had promoted an empty cosmopolitan globalism that made many feel left behind. "Maybe we pushed too far," Mr. Obama said. "Maybe people just want to fall back into their tribe."

His aides reassured him that he still would have won had he been able to run for another term and that the next generation had more in common with him than with Mr. Trump. Mr. Obama, the first black man elected president, did not seem convinced. "Sometimes I wonder whether I was 10 or 20 years too early," he said.

So much irony -- the least of which was 0bama's comment, "Maybe people just want to fall back into their tribe."
