Ronald Reagans daughter in a new op-ed writes that her father would be appalled by President Trump's presidency.
Patti Davis reflects on her fathers love for America in The Washington Post ahead of the anniversary of his death, and what he would think of the nation today.
He would be appalled and heartbroken at a Congress that refuses to stand up to a president who not only seems ignorant of the Constitution but who also attempts at every turn to dismantle and mock our system of checks and balances, Davis wrote.
She also said that her father would call on Americans to recognize that the caustic, destructive language emanating from our current president is sullying the dream that America once was.
And Davis, who frequently criticized her father's policies, said Reagan would condemn Trumps frequent attacks on the press.
He didnt always like the press no president does but the idea of relentlessly attacking the media as the enemy would never have occurred to him," she wrote. "And if someone else had done so, he wouldnt have tolerated it.
She also knocked Trump over his administration's crackdown on immigration.
"There is a difference between immigration laws and cruelty," Davis wrote. "He believed in laws; he hated cruelty."
Trump has said that Reagan was his favorite president during his lifetime, and has shared old photos of him with the leader.
Reagan died on June 5, 2004 after a decade-long battle with Alzheimers disease.

So does Trump.
He thinks it's cruel to the American citizens who are put out of work in favor of illegals. That it's cruel to those who wait in line to come into our country in favor of those who jump to the front. That it's cruel to the taxpayers who support the illegals' use of healthcare, education, food stamps and other benefits. That it's cruel to everyone who has to put up with the increased violence caused by illegals.

Same tune sung by Ronald Junior. That little fruit is still around badmouthing the GOP too. This is how the Reagan kids still get attention.
Only Michael, the adopted kid, actually had much in common with his father.
I think Ronnie would cheer for Trump. Reagan was often frustrated by Congress.

I remember when Reagan was swiftly declining, Michael made the remark, "He doesn't remember much anymore, but he remembers that Congress never gave him the spending cuts they promised."

Just the link. I did not want to violate this site's strict content rules.
So she goes after Trump after prostituting herself with Hugh.

Yeah, LF's strict rules... LOL
I do recall some nudie pix. I always assumed it was to humiliate her parents and the GOP.

My distinct assumption as well as she plotted and planned all kinds of ways to embarrass and the Party. Ditto for Ballerina Boy.
Which reminds me of this memorable scene from Braveheart:
(3:40) "Not my gentle son...The sight of him will only encourage Bitter Clingers and Deplorables to take over the entire country..."

The fact that she hates Trump is bragging on him. You can't buy endorsements as good as that one.
