The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trumps longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress.
Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohens lawyer, who called the search completely inappropriate and unnecessary. The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Muellers investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York.
Today the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients, said Stephen Ryan, his lawyer. I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.
Mr. Cohen plays a role in aspects of the special counsels investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also recently said he paid $130,000 to a pornographic-film actress, Stephanie Clifford, who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump. Ms. Clifford is known as Stormy Daniels.
Mr. Ryan said Mr. Cohen has cooperated with authorities and turned over thousands of documents to congressional investigators looking into Russian election meddling.
The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search. The F.B.I. also seized emails, tax documents and business records, the person said.

But if Hillary Bullshit Felon signs on a witness and co-conspirator to her crimes as her personal attorney, then has her sit in on the fake FBI "interview", well .......... that's not a problem at all.

At this point, yes. The time to fret about how it looks to other politicians has passed - on the face of it, this action looks like malicious harassment completely outside the purview of Mr. Magoo-Mueller.
And if Sleepy Jeff Sessions won't do anything about it, then his ass needs to be gone this week.
If that doesn't happen then we can justifiably say Trump brought it upon himself and can drop his copyright on "You're Fired!".

If they do, it is meaningless. Impeachment does not impair a President's legal power or authority, and it may or may not impair his political standing, depending on whom the people side. If the Republicans stand with the President, there is no impeachment, and he wins.
If they divide and impeach him, the case goes to the Senate. If there are 67 votes to remove him in the Senate, he's gone. But if not, then once again, there is no impairment of his power at all. Whether his political standing is reduced or not depends on the people.
If the people side with the President, Congress gets scoured in the next election.
What is more, a Trump facing impeachment over bullshit has the temptation to really USE his power very, very aggressively. Recall that when impeachment was being debated, Bill Clinton launched missiles into somewhere, I think Afghanistan, in what was dubbed by a British MP in a speech before Parliament as "The War of Clinton's Penis".
By letting this go on and on, Trump will be doing domestically what is going on in Syria. Essentially, the Syrian regime gases his people, and Putin has warned Trump of "severe consequences" if the US takes military action.
Trump should call his domestic enemies' bluff and Putin's bluff - in Syria, the US should launch MOABs at Assad's palace and his hideouts. Kill Assad. Then Russia has two choices, back down, or go to war with the United States. In a conventional war with the US, Russia will be annhilated. So, Putin will have to decide whether or not he is willing to have his own people wiped from the face of the earth in a nuclear war with the US that ends civilization, or lose.
Faced with defeat in 1948, Stalin backed down in both Berlin and Iran. Faced with the threat in 1962, Kruschev backed down. Will the Russians REALLY destroy the world over a dead Syrian dictator. No, they won't. They will simply lose and back down.
If I were Trump, I would kill Assad and his government with MOABs, and I would end Mueller's business and the FBI investigation of himself now.
But I'm not Trump, so we'll see what he will do.

Fuck Syria. Moos killing Moos isn't all bad. In fact, it's pretty good. Fewer Moos.
If you're that worried about it, call the Liechtenstein embassy - it's their turn to get some skin in the game. Let's not have to explain to American parents why their daughter was killed in some Allah-the-Pigraper shithole that can't threaten us.

I would agree. Piercing privilege is a big damn deal and I'd sure like to know what "evidence" was presented to get a search warrant to do this - an ethical judge would need a LOT of convincing to sign off.
And what in the hell does this have to do with colluding with Russia to fix the election? There is ZERO evidence for that, yet Magoo-Mueller instigates this bullshit?
Magoo needs to be hung in public on Capitol Hill if all this is revealed to be political covering-up.

If DD45 even tweeted that he "felt" as if he should fire Mueller...
the leadership in the house and senate would meet with the "president" and notify him that they would no longer give him any cover, and that he must resign.
He would then pardon anyone who he could later force into helping him, and resign in anger at 10:15 on a Friday night...

It has already been established that the Russians interfered with the US election of 2018. on DD45's behalf.
I do not believe for a moment that members of the orange team were not aware and involved.
I do not believe for a moment that if any member of team pussy-grabber were aware or involved, that DD45 was NOT aware and involved.
He is, after all a "win at all costs guy" who must have his fingers in everything, right?
If it can be proved that he or his people were aware and involved, it will be very difficult for DD to remain in power.
Mueller has already secured indictments, plea deals, and most recently, a conviction - which are being used as leverage to reach the ultimate goal; which is to find out "why" it was so important to assure this outcome.
Once the "why" is out in the open - the republicans will convince Herr dumb- ass to step aside.

Mueller, Comey, Odumbass and Mrs. Shithead all colluded in the Uranium One scandal, they all participated in the Benghazi coverup, instructing subordinates to LIE to the victims' families and they all colluded to sweep Mrs. Shithead's conscious theft and exposure of classified national-security documents on an insecure toy bathroom server.
And yes, they DID conspire to cook up phony "Russian collusion" attacks on Donald Trump to first torpedo his campaign, then, when that failed, to frame him with a fabricated "dossier" created and paid for by the Mrs. Shithead campaign. The collusion with Russians was constructed by the DNC and the Mrs. Shithead campaign via Perkins-Coie, Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele. We know that; it's out there on the record; don't go trying to blow smoke up our baracks about it.
The 'Rats conspired and colluded with Russians to rig a campaign win for Mrs. Shithead, period. Not Trump. Not the nutless GOPussies. The 'Rats.
Once we see the 302s and FISC applications, then work out Comey and McCabe's obstruction of justice in that matter, I think it'll start to unravel this summer. And don't forget - Magoo-Mueller preceded Comey during Benghazi, the stolen classified emails and Uranium One. Yeah, I follow this stuff closely because I'm an American, I'm not as dumb as a democRat and I care.

What we SHOULD do is militarily strike Syria to take out Assad, because he's a butcher and his continued rule there is a menace to us.
We should tell the Russians that we are going to take out the Syrian regime unless they control Assad and stop the nonsense. If they do that, then they get to keep their port in Tartarus, which is their only port in the Mediterranean. But we will not be deterred by their threats of action, because they cannot take military action against the United States without being defeated. We are much, much stronger than Russia militarily. Putin is not going to blow up the world over Syria - THEREFORE we are going to have our way there. The Russians can decide if our way will be to kill Assad and allow a new government to come into place, which will probably order the Russians out of their base, and thereby drive them out of the Mediterranean Sea completely, OR THEY can control Assad, in which case he can stay and be civilized. But Assad is not going to be permitted, then, to use poison gas, to kill civilians friendly to us. He can be a palace eunuch, under Russian control, so the Russians keep their base, OR we can kill him, hand Syria over to new rulers, and the Russians will have to go.
And yeah, we CAN destroy the Russian Army and Navy and Air Force in Syria, pretty easily, and no, Putin will not blow up the world over that any more than we did over losing Vietnam.
The problem is that Russia has played a dangerous game of brinkmanship in Syria, but the US is now provoked, and Trump does not seem likely to back down. Therefore Putin will back down: by controlling Assad (better for Russia), or he will hang tough and threaten harm to the US if we remove Assad. In which case we remove Assad and tell Putin: Russia is too weak to fight us. All you have is nukes, and if you use those, you commit suicide. If you're going to commit suicide over Syria, do it. If not, leave. And take you fleet with you. If the Russians fight us in Syria, we annihilate their army and their navy in Syria. No need to invade Russia at all.
They have chosen to get in bed with a war criminal. They can stay in bed with him, and he can live, if they control him like a puppet and stop the nonsense. Otherwise, the dominos fall, and in the end Russia either blinks, or goes to war and is defeated, or blows up the world and ends humanity.

To which he would reply "NO", and then the mother of all Constitutional crises would begin.
Where that would end is difficult to say.
The leadership might agree on impeachment and do it, but would the Senate agree by a 2/3rds majority? And would the President simply passively watch as they did this?
Would the People?
Would Trump let himself be removed by an attempted Congressional coup? Doubt it.
There are plenty of non-politicians loyal to the President. And that's where things get interesting.

The evidence sought by investigators reportedly relates to bank fraud and campaign finance violations, both of which primarily point to one thing. Cohen apparently used a home equity credit line to borrow the $130,000 he paid Stormy Daniels for her silence just weeks before the 2016 election. If Cohen lied to obtain credit from a federally insured financial institution, that is a felony punishable by up to 30 years imprisonment. And because the payment was likely an in-kind contribution to the Trump campaign, it could constitute a willful violation of campaign contribution limits, a separate felony punishable by up to five years imprisonment.
That the investigation of Cohen was apparently referred by special counsel Robert Mueller to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New Yorka Trump appointeeis an early indication that at this point, the matter is not directly related to the Russia investigation. But that doesnt mean Trumps exposure is any less serious. Cohen knows where the LLCs are hidden. Hes been at the center of Trumps financial universe for decades. If he is as exposed as he seems on the Daniels payment, one wonders what information he might be able to offer prosecutorsincluding Muellerin exchange for a deal.
In addition, while the guilty pleas of Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos, deputy campaign chair Rick Gates, and former national security adviser Michael Flynn were all significant, none of them directly jeopardized the president the way a Cohen deal would. If the FBI seized evidence showing that Trump directed Cohens payment to Daniels, Trump may also have committed a felony violation of campaign finance law. If Cohen and Trump worked together to come up with the scheme, they might also both be guilty of conspiring to commit a campaign finance violation. And if Trump (notwithstanding his recent denial) actually knew that he was the beneficiary of the nondisclosure agreement, he might be guilty of a separate offensefailing to report that asset on his personal financial disclosure form.

How does that banana-republic fishing expedition relate to Russian collusion with the DNC and Hillary Milhous Felon and the rest of her obvious crimes?
Or to anything at all?
We're looking at the random, capricious police state so desired by democRats, with nary a peep from the ACLU.
You know what I think? I think Magoo-Mueller is desperate to goad President Trump into firing his crooked ass, because he's got nothing at all. He wants to sneak away under cover of "See, he hates me!" instead of being revealed as a malicious fraud who participated in many criminal acts and coverups himself as part of the corrupt Odumbass regime.

No that's not true. Only an imbecile would think this after all that has been found out. This is about finding something to hang Trump with because he has thumbed his nose at the powers that be.
If this were about true and justice the Department of justice would be investigating the DNC, FBI, Obama and Clinton collusion to start with. They have already investigated Trump to a point were they could count the hairs on his head and found ZERO.

I realize you want desperately to believe this, but it is simply not true.
Mr. Mueller was hired to carry out this investigation and follow the truth wherever it leads. It is not over yet.

Why doesn't donnie dumb-ass demand a special council for this purpose? He is POTUS - he has the power and authority....so why does he look the other way?

Your biases are so huge that even a blind man could see them. They have already told Trump he has not been found guilty in the so called investigation. So yes they have tore into his life with a fine tooth comb looking for something and found nothing they could use.

Because he gets mileage from this being in the news. He is showing how bias the MSM is and how corrupt the government really is. There is no doubt in any sane person how bad the powers that be have become!
Again if they would have found one thing Trump would have been impeached and be in orange right at this movement. So please throw you biases somewhere else because I will keep sticking it in your face!

Because the Right have come to hate the Left, and want to see them dead. And vice versa. The two side literally hate each other now, and want to crush the other. All it would take would be a pivotal event to harden the battle lines. A gun confiscation could do it, or the impeachment of Trump on bogus charges.

I don't agree. While there may be a small percentage of radicalized whack-jobs (on both sides) who are so insecure that they take any difference of opinion as a personal threat. - This is not the majority - and the vast majority of Americans would consider the talk of civil war to be the rantings of loonies.

So stop being an ignorant dipshit and follow what's been discovered to date. Look up Fusion GPS, Crowdstrike, Perkins Coie and the "Russian hacking" of the DNC for which there is ZERO evidence. Start there; it's about 10% of the corruption reported to date.
There - I've led you to water. If you don't want to drink, then dehydrate and disappear for all I care. I'm not going to waste any more time on those who insist on remaining ignorant. People like you elect Maxine Waters, after all.
Or if you're too lazy or too stupid to comprehend, then just STFU and wait and see. As it is, you just look like a democRat retard at the (very low) level of a Berniezuela supporter.
Ignorance is very limiting, but democRats count on it for their survival.

Because our government is rotten to the core.
This is why we elected Trump: to be a bull in a China shop.
It's time for him to BE that bull.
He's been told by advisors "he can't". But now he MUST do what he "can't". Because he CAN.
Yes, it will cause an UTTER meltdown of the US economy, send us into a great depression. There will be riots and there will be political chaos and all sorts of things might happen.
He might be driven from office. Then again, he might call on the security forces to arrest the perps in the FBI and Congress and the security forces might prevail.
Dice will be rolling all over the place, and we could end up in a civil war, or a dictatorship of the Left or the Right.
OR, if he does it and does not back down, the other side may find that all they have is the THREAT of legal action, but that law enforcement will actually stand with the President, and the other sides threats will dissipate. Then THEY will be in the position where they "can't", unless they want to risk arrest, investigation by the IRS, Special Prosecutors.
Trump can direct Sessions to appoint Special Prosecutors to go after the Clintons, Obama, the FBI itself, Lindsey Graham, etc.
HE can unleash special prosecutors on the IRS, on Maxine Waters, on all of his enemies.
Instead of passively letting the left use the law to overthrow him, he can use the law to go after them with abusive investigations and prosecutions, and HE controls the armed forces.
If Trump won't fight to the death, he's a useless turd. Fighting to the death means breaking precedents, doing what he should not do, provoking Constitutional crises, and using the FULL power of his office SWIFTLY to crush his enemies with the full prosecutorial force of the US government - just exactly what they are doing to him.
If I were him, I would have done this months ago. He's followed advice. "Advice" is trying to keep the peace. He needs to stop doing that and fight.

Fusion GPS - Intelligence community, information gathering, due diligence. Hired Christopher Steele, Spy, Russian expert, who dug into DD45's greasy deals with Russia. He wrote a report on what he had discovered and shared it with the US FBI.
Perkins Coie - Counsel of record for essentially the entire Democratic party, including Obama and HRC. Hired Fusion GPS for intelligence on republican opponents and issues leading up to 2016 election cycle.
DNC Hack - there is, in fact mounting evidence of the Russian hack. recently from the Dutch intelligence agency.
In order to take these fairly ordinary players and events and turn them into the impossible fairy-tail of poor donnie dip-shit being framed by the evil cabal of HRC, Obama, the Bush family and their bots....
...you've got to buy into the idea of a secret society of elitists (the scary "deep state") conspiring to take down the only pure American leader in 200 years who is here to 'drain the swamp".
It's a crock, James.
The idea of the "deep state" or the "Illuminati," the Masons, the CFR, or the Bilderburgers is a physiological crutch that allows the weak minded to have an excuse for their miserable unsatisfying lives.
That's right! things will be just swell as soon as SH Donnie drains the swamp!!
and anyone who doesn't agree is a commie! and isn't a real 'mercan patriot!!
Please enjoy your fantasy and remember to clean up your mess and wash your hands. Thanks

It boggles the mind that these types of pods are so brainwashed that they totally dismiss the obvious. Instead they WILLINGLY follow every reptilian Media lie they hear/see and leap over the cliff like lemmings.
Despite having Free Will to choose between Obvious Lies and Obvious Truth, they willingly choose to gag on load after load of every Leftist-Liberal BS dangled before their maw. You ask why Trump should be pardon and I say again what has he done to be impeached? If he has "lied" to congress then what has he lied about? Needs to something of substance not bs!
See your problem is you have nothing but you want him impeached on something because of your hate for Trump. Go ahead and hate him we don't care its your right. But what is the problem is we have a thing called the Constitution where a all men are presumed innocent until proven guilty. We also have probable cause to investigate which was "trumped" up by the Regressives, never trumpers and demoncrat party to get rid of my vote illegally(That is where the investigation needs to be)! Screw you guys!!!!!
Trump in one year has done more good for America as a whole then the last 3 presidents and he has only had one year and has fought never Trumpers, MSM, and the Regressives around the world home and abroad. I think he needs to be commended for getting things done!
