New revelations have surfaced in a drug scandal case festering at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, involving a criminal ring of about ten midshipmen, according to Fox News.
The United States Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) was briefed on the illegal activity three months ago when a fellow midshipman contacted authorities about a rogue group of midshipmen selling drugs on campus.
Current reports estimate ten midshipmen were part of the elaborate scheme to supply midshipmen throughout the Naval Academy with powerful drugs including cocaine, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), and Ketamine. Fox News specifies the criminal ring used Bitcoins to purchase the drugs on the dark web then distributed the product throughout campus.
Sources from within the academy tell Fox News that roughly two-dozen midshipmen are under investigation. No formal or pending charges have been brought against any midshipmen as the investigation expands.

Yup,and traditionally, they have been "legacy cadets". Their fathers or grandfathers were flag rank officers.
And the job of the officer corps is to keep the worst ones from advancing through the ranks.
The one example I know about was a Captain I had the misfortune to meet that was a sadistic sociopath that was totally unfit for any kind of command position. He would hand out Article 15's to privates that didn't have a shirt pocket buttoned, and would try to court-martial people for being 1 day AWOL. One of h is favorite tricks was to sit in his air-conditioned office smoking cigars, and when he would see someone walking across the street from the motor pool to the barracks,he would wait for them to get close and then open the door and throw the cigar down on the street and order them to pick it up and dispose of it.
EVERYBODY in the company had nothing but total contempt for him, including the platoon leaders and the XO.
He knew it,too. The company deployed twice while I was assigned to it,and he stayed back at Bragg both times and sent his XO to command in his absence.
I tell you true,if he had ever deployed to a hazardous zone with a troop command,he would have been dead within a week.
How the army handled that was they released him from his command and sent him to JAG school, with a delay for him to get a law degree. It was a fit for everybody. Nobody could ever hope to get a more viscous and determined prosecutor, and he would never have a troop command position again.
I suppose they did something similar with other "legacies". There weren't that many of them and it was easy to find places for them where they couldn't do much harm. Now there are just too many AA people in uniforms to find places to put them where they would be harmless.

According to one of the former L.I.F.E.R. cadre members I talked to, the troubles associated with Operation Gridiron were ALL the local newspaper's fault... because the Colorado Springs Gazette had "an agenda" against the Academy.
I'm no big fan of the Gazette - but THAT sounded like complete bullshyte.
And that was when I went and found SSGT Enos', document - and read his account of just how big a Cluster Frack was running behind the "conservative" facade over at USAF Dominionists-R-Us Academy.
And then last fall, the Dyke in Command there and her 3 Star stooge ordered 5000 cadets to attention and told them "ACCEPT DIVERSITY - or GET OUT".
That was in response to a FAKE hate crime.

My classmate, football player Napoleon McCallum, had to do his naval service before going on to play pro-ball.
David Robinson, the basketball player, was allowed to do reduced service.
Elite athletes won't go to school at the academies if they can't go play afterwards, and the attention they draw to the academy - including the alumni goodwill and contributions that come from playing great games, and the general goodwill of the public, more than pays for the cost of one academy education - in the estimation of the senior military personnel making the decision.
You obviously don't agree with their assessment. It seems to outrage you.
I do agree with their assessment, and regard it with a shoulder shrug. The Navy is not finding it hard to fill officer ranks, and every one of these pro- athletes who has come through there has generated a lot more publicity and alumni excitement - and contributions - than regular graduates. You use your assets in a way that best favors the Navy, and that may include letting some of them go a bit early in order to reap greater advantages for the academy than simply forcing some individual to be another drone.

Which is what makes giving Vanguard Elite, psychotically deluded, Commies like you an opportunity to put your "elite" nature on display for all to see a worthwhile endeavor.
How 'bout you "learn" the class on how, in between mouse resurrections - you figure all "right wingers", or whatever, should be executed? THAT was really educational.

I'm not the one fantasizing about raising mice from the dead and executing right- wingers.

The question raised in this thread is just how much Vicomte13's sort of "elite" attitude typifies the GIGO flow of America's military leadership pipeline.

OODA loops, not sugar coated unicorn and fairy dust fruit loops, are what's required if there's to be a meaningful recovery of the swamped Military Industrial banana boat/enterprise that Eisenhower warned us was paddling America up the "elite" river into the Heart of Darkness 56+ years ago.
OODA Loops, not fruit loops, is what is required to transform The Company back into something resembling a lawfully constituted Republic, having the narrowly defined and constrained purpose: "TO SECURE THESE RIGHTS".

I don't care about Pol Pot. When he was doing whatever he did I wasn't even 10 years old. It's weird that, with all of the relevant things going on in the world right here, right now, things that matter to us here in America, you're obsessed with something Pol Pot did in a far away country nearly a half century ago. It's weird.
Pol Pot happened, at some point in his life, to have lived in the same city I did, and have attended the same university I did - which merely happens to be the largest and most renown university in France (and so therefore the likely place that ANY foreign person seeking a degree would go - same reason I was there). To you this is a BIG DEAL. An object of obsession. Of all of the things to focus on. It's weird.
I do not have delusions of having raised anything from the dead. As a matter of objective fact God raised two small dead animals, a baby mouse and an anole lizard, from the dead, in my hands. He healed my broken neck and paralysis and saved me from drowning at the bottom of a lake alone as a kid when I ran down the dock, dove in headfirst and broke my neck on the too shallow bottom. He grabbed my face and my arm out of the air and talked to me. He flew a bird into my face to drive off a demon. And in myriad other ways he has been good to me (even though I don't think I deserve it) and demonstrated his presence through communication, through miracle, and through fantastic good fortune. That's WHY I believe in God as God, as opposed to the forces of nature as God.
These are facts. They originally each came up in the context of specific conversations over many years on this site, about God and faith and proof and belief, and why people have faith. I didn't simply, out of the blue, post a list of the miracles I have experienced, and tell anybody "therefore you should listen to me about God".
It never has been that way. But nor will I back down. All of these things are objective facts. None of them are delusions. God is, and I know it for sure, because I'm still alive, because I've seen him raise the dead, because he has grabbed me and talked to me, because I've seen a demon and been hit by the holy dove.
This seems to drive you mad with rage, so you hurl my own experiences back at me as a sort of accusation. You are accusing me of having spoken with and encountered God. Now, because your belief in God is weak, and you treat it like a game - a mean game of a mean-spirited, bitter and twisted old man who obsesses about things like Pol Pot's education (WHO CARES?)(YOU do - and that makes you a nut, frankly, because of the WAY you care about that) - because of that, it bothers you that this Vicomte13 whom you despise has talked to God and encountered God and you have not.
So you belch lies and scream that it's all delusions. It is not. It is true.
You will die, probably sooner than me, but it makes no difference. You will die. And when you do, you will have a life review, and you will recall and see your entire life, including this very moment. And during that review, you will see and feel again your rage against me, and against the truth I have told you, but you will be seeing it from the perspective of truth, and you will know that I was always telling you the Truth. In your hatred of me, you pissed all over God - which makes you a very unwise, frankly stupid asshole. You should stop being an asshole about matters of God. You do not know what you are talking about. You're an old fool who never encountered God directly yourself in any way that you can be certain, and so - with excess and arrogant and really stupid confidence - asserts that a man you HATE, irrationally - I have never done anything to you at all other than tell you true stories and put up with your unending evil words and relentless bullshit.
You are mocking God when you mock me for telling you what God has done for me. And you would do very well to stop doing that, for your own good. You could not possibly be more wrong. As unexpressibly horrible as it is to you, God likes me - Vicomte13 - a whole lot more than you do. And that seems to drive you insane with rage, and cause you to indulge in ridiculous behavior.
Do yourself a favor and shut up about it. Don't speak of it anymore. You think I'm a liar, and you'll find out you were always dead wrong about all of that soon enough. And when you do, what then? YOU are the one who keeps bringing up these things from the past that I have said. I don't. You bring them up because you think they bolster your case. Actually, they make you a stalker, bitter, twisted, and unbelievably stupid, given what you are dealing with and the Truth about it.
You will know the truth of that one day - you COULD know it right now, but your hatred blinds you.
It's not pleasant, our conversations. You chase me from thread to thread, all over the site, crapping on everybody else's subject matter and raging on about nonsensical crap nobody cares about. It's disruptive. You're not "saving" anybody from anything. Everybody here is a big boy. Nobody is going to be hauled off to Vicomte's lair and eaten like an "It" victim.
You're simply making an ass of yourself, out of hatred.
Now, I will admit you enraged me when you chose, out of the blue, to go after my dead father, to attack me and make some sort of point about homosexuality. Then you doubled down, brought up his death again, and asserted that I was homosexual because he was. What a jackass you are. Of course you defended yourself and felt completely self-righteous about it.
I bother writing you because you are redeemable. But honestly if you just keep attacking and attacking me, for no good reason, spamming thread after thread in your pursuit of me with your lunatic stuff, you're going to wear out your welcome with everybody else on this site. It won't be because of anything I did, but because you act like your unhinged.
So why don't you stop that. We're adults. We're both military veterans. I'm not interesting enough to stalk. Just leave it be and talk about current events and give your ideas. I recall at times that you've said some cogent things, but then you gift wrap them in crazy stalker.
Just stop it. It's no good.
I came back to post about the Naval Academy, where I went to school (and yeah, it IS an elite school, really hard to get into, really hard to get through, and an amazing education and experience - and a worthy mission to fulfill upon graduation too, and yeah, I am qualified to speak on it).
Instead of talking about that, we're talking about a mouse that died, rose and died again long ago, and Pol Pot. Pull yourself together and have a reasonable conversation.
