At least 17 people were dead after a 19-year-old former student opened fire at a South Florida high school on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
The suspect was identified as Nikolaus Cruz, a former student who had been expelled from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said. He said at least 14 other people were injured in addition to the 17 people killed.
Officials believe the gunman had one AR-15-style semi-automatic rifle, but it was unclear if he had any other weapons.
The suspect "was taken into custody about an hour after he left Stoneman Douglas after he committed this horrific, detestable act," Israel said. Federal and local authorities told NBC News there was no indication that the gunman had an accomplice or accomplices.

Nothing screams new gun laws like over sensitized, pussified and empathetic SHEEP finding out that the loneliest day in Sandy Hook, is 2021's class reunion.

What is surprising is how seldom people ask why it is always these psychiatric drugs that are involved in these mass shootings. Just regular drinkers or pot smokers almost never do this stuff. A smallish number of these crimes are committed by people who are very mentally ill, like the Aurora theater shooter. Off in a world of their own, hearing voices, etc.
These drugs are dangerous and harmful. These results are predictable. And general practitioners hand them out like candy with almost no followup care at all.
Psychiatric drugs are greatly overprescribed in this country. I think over half of all these massacres can be traced directly to irresponsible prescriptions of psychiatric drugs by GPs who aren't qualified to issue these medicines and who have no responsibility to followup on patient care when they do write the prescriptions.

I get your point but you're going a bit far with that rhetoric. IMO.

If sheep can't stomach WORDS, regardless how insensitive they may be, then we are truly fucked as a society when you've realized that liberalism preys upon weakness.

Maybe the police should have their guns taken away, and given to some other gangbangers who are on the scene and willing to use them to defend their turf, the school.
When seconds count the police are minutes away, at the doughnut shop. The death toll is all tallied up by the time they waddle over to their squad car and squeeze in.

Hard truths aren't an error. But unduly harsh language can be self-defeating.
Anyway, I'm not your nanny and don't want to be. I didn't really intend to scold but I took some exception to how hard your words sounded.

And it will be the inability for the average snowflake to tolerate "unduly harsh language" that will remove speech freedoms in the future. Mark my words on this. The populace is about 75% pussified for the liberal left to ban speech when they deem it hate speech... or IOW's unduly harsh.
TC, if you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem. My speech, causing you "exception"... puts you somewhere in that 75% weakened state.
ALL SPEECH SHOULD BE EMBRACED... whether you like it, agree with it, disagree with it, are hurt by it or angered by it.
I say what I say, for a reason. Before I'd patrol with you on calls, I'd need to know what you are made of. If I ever thought for one second your actions could be manipulated by another's words, because of your EMOTIONS... I'd refuse to work with you.
Like Spock always said... emotions are illogical. That shit WAS FACT. If America was made up of mostly unemotional and logical people, WE WOULDNT BE THIS PUSSIFIED TODAY.

No, it doesn't.
We don't win any points with anyone when our language is so harsh toward the victims of a massacre.
You can't persuade even a single person like that. It doesn't work.

My satire is used to see what other posters are made of. I find it comical how some claim they are serious about free speech... until you say something that hurts them. Just like how a feminist bitches about equal rights, until you punch the bitch like a man.
You wanna take a stand for something? Go 100%.... be like Spock.

You complain that I sound soft. I'm complaining that you sound like a psychopath.
I'm not soft. And I don't think you're a psychopath. So you shouldn't talk like one if you actually ever want to persuade someone.
Tell you what. You travel down to Newtown and explain your theory to them in person, using exactly the language you used above. They'd love to hear from you.
Not that it matters. Neither of us is going to stomp off in a huff anyway. So if you feel a deep emotional need to dance on the graves of the 20 dead toddlers murdered in Newtown, go right ahead. Celebrate it! Revel in it. Throw annual parties with BBQ and fireworks and a small carnival to commemorate it. Otherwise, maybe snowflakes will start going soft or something. And only really harsh and heartless statements about dead toddlers will stop that from happening. Apparently.
I bet you aren't letting your girlfriend read this, are you? I'd be surprised if you could even convince her of the need for such harsh language about a tragic massacre, let alone anyone else.

Cruz and his brother were both adopted as small children.
Their heritage is unknown.

Nice try.
NOT.
He was ANTIFA. Capture before Twitter and Facebook BOTH predictably scrubbed Cruz sites.
How else can they create a whole new profile that portrays your brethren as a "White Nationalist"? The Leftist social media (Twitter and FB both owned by avowed Leftists) does exactly this EVERY TIME.

Yup. ANTIFA. Proof in the pudding.
Their latest narrative is that the above is just a "parody." Chyeah, right.
The MSM refuses to report this, or the truth. It won't fit their Fake Narrative to pin it on some white/"Trump" kid.

Speculation, but could well be part of his severe psychological/spiritual problem.
Probably fallen prey to the ongoing socialist-avenger culture predators, which likely groomed Cruz to hate and envy.

It could just be a provocative teen T-shirt choice. Stalin and Lenin with dunce caps (or party hats), Castro and Mao with glasses of booze, Marx three sheets to the wind with a lampshade on his head.
I wouldn't say Antifa until we know a lot more. It's just as likely he's making fun of Marxist-Leninists as that he admires them. I'd say that mocking is more likely; in any of the commie regimes indicated, he would be executed for wearing such a T-shirt, just as you would see in North Korea today.
