We bought a large screen TV a few months ago. Last night, smoke came pouring out from it. I mean billowing clouds of smoke. We quickly unplugged and disconnected it. I never saw that even from those old tube TVs.
Needless to say, we will be returning it.

75" Samsung burns
LG TV pours white smoke and fails. This guy had it happen once, ordered some new capacitors and replaced them, then videoed it when he plugged it back in. The magic smoke escaped in less than a minute.

I guess I'll no longer do that.

That's Fox & Friends way of saying farewell, you won't be seeing them again.

Unplug everything if you want to be safe. And be sure your wiring is good.
Or you could just buy a bit of insurance to cover any losses. It's pretty cheap.

Many appliances don't care, and many that do care still seem to work fine. Some work fine..... for a while.

Maybe it was the Gorilla Channel. Or a granny tranny love story.
