Gun-Toting Robber Waltzes Into Convenience Store, Clerk Immediately Opens Fire

A Smoke 4 Less store clerk in Durham, North Carolina got into a shootout with an armed robber, and police just released the video Thursday.

It’s pretty incredible.

WATCH: 

First of all, you gotta give props to this clerk. From my detailed, CSI-level video analysis he was already brandishing his weapon before the masked gunman even entered the store.

Now that’s some emergency preparedness.

He likely saw the robber coming in via the parking lot security camera, which police have also released.

I like this camera angle because it shows just how quickly this thug tucked his tail and ran. He may have planned to rob a Smoke 4 Less, but he was definitely not looking to get Smoked 4 his actions.

The only sad part is that the clerk apparently has really bad aim or his gun is such a small caliber pea-shooter that it has little effect.

I laughed at how he got the drop on the scumbag and just opened fire. I would have done exactly the same.

Yes, the clerk gets an A+ for situational awareness. I just hate it when a gun- toting hoodlum is able to run away unharmed.

Yeah, the clerk needs to replace his little pistol for a sawed off 12 ga shotgun ! Then the thug will not run away !
