"Republicans, their deal with America was: If you give us the House of Representatives, we can play defense; if you give us the Senate, we can play a little bit offense; you give us the House, the Senate, and the presidency and we can actually get things done... And so here we are seven months into it and they haven't even passed a bill yet."
- Former Rep. Jason Chaffetz

Republicans campaigned in 2010 on repealing Obamacare. They campaigned in 2012 on repealing Obamacare. They campaigned in 2014 on repealing Obamacare. They campaigned in 2016 on repealing Obamacare. They control the House, the Senate, the White House, the Supreme Court and 35 state legislatures and governorships. And they're not repealing Obamacare.
With Republicans, popular conservative issues are like Little Orphan Annie's song - "Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya tomorrow, you're always a day away." They throw these things out there as boob bait for Bubbas, Bubba always bites, the GOP gets power - and then they do what they REALLY are interested in, which is concentrate wealth and power more and more in the hands of their wealthy benefactors.
And like Charlie Brown, who always tries to kick the football that Lucy always moves, Bubba never learns.

I'd like to see what the legislation has to look like to get 60 votes (ie., 52 Republicans + 8 Democrats)

The central socialist government must be put out of business.....in regard to it's many lurches away from the carefully planned, but simple to understand U. S. Constitution which sets boundaries over which it must not wander aimlessly.
