saw that map makes things long and skinny but it's a matter of perspective, I've always wondered why the southern hemisphere is smaller than the northern or why Greenland is bigger than Australia but I have never thought of Russia as this map portrays it. The old map was Eurocentric when it was drawn and it is hard to see the centre of this one, perhaps it's Africa. I really like the composite map it shows how all the continents fit together and better informs
