This Hawk has been circling to snatch some roadkill, only to find me underneath a bird trap using a kangaroo carcass to catch the hawk with my bare hands.

Please don't think Australians behave like this, obviously this dingbat has nothing better to do that molest a wild bird

I'm calling "BullBush" on this one. No way in HELL is he catching a wild hawk like that, and having the hawk just sit there so calmly he might as well be taking a nap. If the hawk were wild,he would be flapping his wings, shrieking, and trying to peck the guy to death with his beak.

The dude has recently been hired by the discovery channel.

I think it is real.

I don't think they would hire him if he was going around faking stuff.

Here is another hawk he caught.

It looks like the same trained hawk as in the top video.

Birds look similar of course.

But the first video the bird had a lot more white in the feathers on the outside.

Steve Irwin was an awesome Aussie too. Until a stingray rammed its barb into his heart, leaving his two young children without a father.

Well, we should bear in mind that Mother Nature is mostly a hungry angry bitch.

Bad ass? we have laws about interferreing with wild life. He is promoting himself but bad news if anyone actually followed his example. He is probably an unemployed coconut, you need a little native knowledge to do things like this

Amen,amen,AMEN!

And I LOVE it when a member of the Granola/Group Hug Club makes that surprise discovery.

Anybody ever notice you just don't seem to see very many You Tube videos of people hugging bears, lions, and tigers?

Gee,I wonder why?

No kidding. Hawks have some pretty serious talons and beaks. That's what they use to defend themselves and feed themselves with, and if you scare one the hawk WILL use them to shred any of your skin it can get close to.

Do NOT try to grab wild hawks!

He is a real man

He is an idiot with no respect for wildlife. If you behave like this you wind up being seriously injured, you don't crawl inside a log, you don't use a kangaroo carcass as a lure the way he did, he might have wound up with a wedge tail eagle instead of a hawk. He could have actually crawled into a meat ant nest. What if the fox had latched on to his face instead of his arm? As I said before he is a coconut trying to make a name for himself. Dundee was a fictional character, Urwin got killed because he failed to respect wildlife.

You think there arn't dangerous animals here but even Kangaroo is dangerous given opportunity and the snakes are to be given a wide berth. Come out into a paddock with me and have a six foot six kangaroo buck cough at you, you know damn well he is telling you to go away or else. You don't go and punch him in the face as some dickhead did. Look I have met a six foot black snake and was able to walk away because I was non aggressive. if it was my father he would have attempted to kill it

Given what we're seeing of this daredevil, chances are we won't have to wait too long for another "wildlife tragedy" to be reported. This Ucles guy is competing hard to win his own Darwin award.

You should bookmark this thread so you can come back to post your I-told-ya-so gloats.
