The US State Department is a nest of employees who have a certain fixed mindset. They have the mindset of previous times and administrations, and they believe very firmly what they believe.

They also believe that, because they are the State Department officials, that their own firm beliefs ARE US policy, that US policy, and US interests, are determined by what they, the State Department professionals, believe to be best for America.

But this is not so.

American policy is determined by what the American PEOPLE decided is best for America. And the American people can change their minds and overrule 100 years of tradition, if they want to. They do so through elections.

Donald Trump ran on making peace with Russia, opening lines of good relations, and allying with Russia to crush ISIS. He was elected by the people on that platform.

THEREFORE, peace and friendship with Russia are NOW American interests, and maintaining the Cold War and cold relations with Russia are NOT American interests, and are CONTRARY to American interests.

The professionals in the State Department do not agree, but they are functionaries whose purpose is to execute policy, not to act as a control over policy.

The State Department has been actively, and passively, attempting to override the foreign policy of the United States, which is to seek peace and friendship with Russia, and to seek military alliance with Russia against ISIS. That's what the people voted for, and what the President was elected to do.

If the State Department personnel decide that they are going to resist the will of the people and the elected President because they don't agree, then they need to be put out of their jobs, and their agency needs to be chopped down and brought into line.

The PRESIDENT decides what American interests are. Functionaries in the government EXECUTE policy, but they do not MAKE it. State Department functionaries do not like the new US policy, so they are seeking to derail it. The whole institution is fighting the will of the People and the President. Therefore, the State Department needs to be chopped down, its people fired, its influence and importance stripped, until those who remain understand that their purpose is to EXECUTE policy, NOT TO MAKE IT.

They are arrogant and do not understand that. And they are resisting. Therefore, they must be destroyed. Politics trumps professional beliefs, because the PURPOSE of the State Department is to execute the foreign politics of the President, not their own will. They have no right to have their own will and sit in those jobs. Because they don't believe that, the whole Department has to be decapitated. That's the way it is.

ExxonMobil did not elect Trump. The American People did. Trump campaigned on peace and cooperation with Russia. The American People voted for that. That is now the policy. The old policy is no longer the policy.

hey're not partisan appointees. They're career staffers who span multiple administrations.

Trump is damaging the State Department Infrastrucure... the Institutional Memory that provides stability, congruity & continuity to our foreign policy.

There can be no continuity of policy with with Cold War era. That is what "continuity" means, and what the Democrats, Establishment Republicans, and State Department staffers who span multiple administrations want.

They do not want to change their minds and to start treating Russia as a potential ally and a partner. They want to continue what they know. What they know has always been American policy before, and they institutionally believe that that continuous, stable policy is "American interests".

But American policy has abruptly CHANGED with this election. The American People voted to BREAK with the past and to choose a man who want to be friends with Russia and ally with them against Islamic terrorism.

The State Department staffers want continuity with the past, and they are resisting the President of the United States, and resisting the new American policy. Therefore they and their institution must be broken and fired and removed and replaced, to the extent necessary, to bring it to heel politically. They may not be political appointees, but they DO have a politics, and the institution has a politics. But the politics of the nation, the duly elected Chief Executive, are DIFFERENT from their long standing politics. American national interests have CHANGED, but the State Department staffers do not accept the change. They want continuity with the past. Therefore, because they will not come to heel and implement the NEW policy, they and their institution have to be damaged, and ultimately broken if necessary.

The State Department staffers, political or permanent, serve the POLICY as established by the President. They are not entitled to their OWN "policy", and they are not entitled to determine what "American interests" are. American interests are determined by elected politicians, specifically by the elected President. HE is in command of the State Department, the ENTIRE State Department, the permanent staff too, as well as the political staff. They can't be removed for being the opposite party, but they CAN be removed if they seek to pursued a policy in opposition to the President.

The People chose to make peace with Russia. Trump campaigned on that, and he was elected.

The NSA, CIA and State Department have decided to try to overrule the People, and the President, because THEY have decided that peace with Russia is "not in American interests", and that Trump must be stopped and undermined.

Therefore, the CIA, NSA and State Department have to be "damaged" very aggressively until they are broken, if necessary, to bring them back to heel and back firmly under political control.

ALL of the agencies of the United States, including the military, intelligence and foreign policy, are MEANT TO BE subject to ultimate POLITICAL control. They are not MEANT to have independent power of their own to set policy. They EXECUTE policy, but policy is DECIDED by politicians, NOT staffers. Staffers implement policies they are GIVEN BY POLITICIANS, they do NOT have the power, or the right, to decide what policy will be against the will of the politicians.

ALL policy of the United States, ESPECIALLY NATIONAL SECURITY AND MILITARY AND FOREIGN POLICY, are COMPLETELY subject to civilian political control. Political control is determined by the President, who is elected by the people.

Staffers in the State Department, the CIA and the NSA don't want peace with Russia, so they have sought to attack the President, to challenge his power as the sole and final decider of US Executive power.

Therefore, these agencies must be cut down to size, damaged, weakened, even destroyed, and staffers fired, removed for insubordination, prosecuted and imprisoned for leaks - to the extent necessary to bring them firmly back under the command of the elected political authorities whom they serve.

The NSA, CIA, FBI and State Department, at all levels, has no right whatever to have a will of its own. They are agencies who exist to be marionettes of the will of the elected President and his political staff.

The CIA and FBI and NSA and State Department are SUPPOSED TO BE under political control. So is the military. All of it. There is NOTHING in American government that is supposed to be ABOVE political control. The CONSTITUTION ITSELF is subject to political amendment.

THAT IS DEMOCRACY IN A REPUBLIC. Staffers do not have the power or authority to resist the will of their political masters. When they do by leaking information, they are criminals who should be prosecuted and destroyed like any other spy. A State Department man who seeks to prevent peace with Russia is not acting in American interests. The President was elected to make peace with Russia. Staffers who seek to undermine that policy are enemies of American policy and need to be driven out.

In the post-Soviet era, Russia is still a corrupt, kleptocracy with a murderous KGB thug like Putin as it's dictator. There can be no alliance or partnership with such corruption.

They are confirmed loyal diehard “card carrying” Democrats whose employment span multiple administrations and need to be "drained from the swamp.”

Records show that of the roughly $2 million that federal workers from 14 agencies spent on presidential politics by the end of September [2016], about $1.9 million, or 95 percent, went to the Democratic nominee’s campaign.

Employees at all the agencies analyzed, without exception, are sending their campaign contributions overwhelmingly to Clinton over her Republican counterpart.

I’ll post it, but it probably is a waste of my time….since you will not believe it anyway. The information doesn’t fit into your agenda.

“In terms of dollar amount, Clinton received over $1.85 million in donations from federal employees, while Trump received just more than $106,500.”

Government workers shun Trump, give big money to Clinton.

Federal government employees are opening their wallets to help Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump on Nov. 8.

Of the roughly $2 million that federal workers from 14 agencies spent on presidential politics by the end of September, about $1.9 million, or 95 percent, went to the Democratic nominee’s campaign, according to an analysis by The Hill.

Employees at all the agencies analyzed, without exception, are sending their campaign contributions overwhelmingly to Clinton over her Republican counterpart. Several agencies, such as the State Department, which Clinton once led, saw more than 99 percent of contributions going to Clinton.

Employees of the Department of Justice, which investigated Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of State, gave Clinton 97 percent of their donations. Trump received $8,756 from DOJ employees compared with $286,797 for Clinton. From IRS employees, Clinton received 94 percent of donations.

Federal government employees overwhelmingly backed Clinton’s presidential campaign no matter which agency The Hill analyzed using Federal Election Commission data covering donors giving more than $200.

This report received EXTENSIVE coverage as shown HERE and nowhere has it been disputed.

This is the MOST damning you can find? Clearly quantity cannot replace quality. Like these two:

7 "Russian media hailed President-elect Trump's victory as a vindication of Putin's advocacy of global populist movements - the theme of Putin's annual conference for Western academics in October 2016 -- and the latest example of Western liberalism's collapse."

10 "In early September, Putin said publicly it was important the DNC data was exposed to Wikileaks, calling the search for the source of the leaks a distraction [from the content of data] and denying Russian 'state-level' involvement."

Very damning indeed!

There is a VERY incestuous relationship between Old Money European banking families and the US State Department. The old family people like the Harriman's seem to be out of the picture these days, but in many cases they are still there, but hiding under the names the Harriman daughters and their daughters married into. One married a man named Prescott Bush in the last century, for example.

These people represent no one but themselves and the family banking interests. Sometimes that is the same as American interests, but that is just a coincidence.

Oh,it's worse than that. I bet if you were to check the family blood lines of the top administrators you would discover family linkages that go all the way back to right after the Revolutionary War.

They are in fact a shadow government. Sometimes that works for peace because they work for economic stability because it's good for business, but at other times they work for war because someone has taken over another government, booted out their family representatives in that nation, and shut down their profits and their influence. That's when they want to go to war.

Old line families are not much anymore.

The problem is that corporations simply amass too much money and power too quickly, with much greater command and control. Families are quarrelsome, small, and the individuals don't have staffs to deal with one another the way that corporate bodies too.

It's swell to be part of an old line family, and there is certainly the security of wealth there for many of them, but the wealth fades in comparison to the wealth of modern corporations. There are very few truly large wholly family-owned corporations.

I know, but I expected something more spectacular - like Russian hackers falsifying American elections or at least putting some stuff in Mrs Clinton's coffee to make her say stupid things during her presidential campaign.

Clearly, the Xlinton campaign was totally inept at computer security. Their own fault, particularly Podesta's emails. Their errors were pretty much self-inflicted.

To the extent that the Russians "hacking" (i.e. revealing that the DNC stacked the deck against Bernie, the true disparaging opinions of Xlinton insiders like Podesta toward their own voters) affected the election, it was because the voters had accurate info about the candidate and how much she and the Xlinton gang despised pretty much everyone.

As SoS, Hitlery did meddle in Vlad's 2011 election, more to delegitimize his inevitable election rather than a serious attempt to unseat him. So Vlad was, in many ways, trying to return the favor to her. We should not too readily dismiss a certain Russian habit of revenge for perceived insulting behavior.

I don't think the Russians ever imagined, any more than anyone else in the West, that Trump would actually beat Hillary. I do think that Vlad would find delegitimizing the American election, worthwhile in itself but even more so against Hitlery, to be in his own interests as he is not a fan of democracy to begin with. He tolerates it, or at least the trappings of it.

Vlad made a typical Russian play to downgrade a democratic election in the leading Western country with an eye to upcoming elections in the EU, eastern Europe and Turkey. Russia is authoritarian and prefers to deal with other autocratic regimes.

FWIW,I am personally opposed to "convenience" abortions after the 3rd month.

However, what I am opposed to and what makes me happy are irrelevant because we are talking about a law,and laws have to be defined in black and white so people understand what they can do legally, and what they can't do legally.

And regardless of how *I* think about abortion,I am not arrogant enough to demand that MY opinion outweigh the opinion of some young girl or woman who is pregnant as the result of a rape,or whose life would be at risk if she were to try to carry to term. EVERYBODY has the right to self-defense,even pregnant woman.

And don't try to pull that "the baby has a right to life, too!" nonsense because a fetus is NOT a baby. If it were a baby, the legal term for it would be "baby",NOT fetus. Don't like the law? Change it.

When people kill, not being aware what they do, it is a manslaughter, not murder.

Just my opinion.

I am NOT a legal expert, but I THINK "manslaughter" is a big gray zone in the law, where it is not clear the doer's life was at risk, but it's not really clear it wasn't,either.

This way a jury of his or her peers, proving his or her peers are retired geezers with nothing else to do,bored housewives,or unemployed men,get to make the call instead of a judge.

And of course,it is probably rare in cases where the defendant is charged with manslaughter for the defendant to get serious prison time,or for them to not be able to return a "justifiable homicide" verdict. After all,if it was murder, the charge should have been murder.

I don't think the Russians ever imagined, any more than anyone else in the West, that Trump would actually beat Hillary.

Hell,I voted for Trump, and even I didn't think he was going to win.

I voted for Trump and knew he was going to win. I knew it when he announced. I knew it would resonate with regular folks.

Russia is authoritarian and prefers to deal with other autocratic regimes.

It is nice that America is not authoritarian and stays away from the Saudis. Isn't it?
