Unlike the old European monarchies, we have a very high bar against treason charges. This was due to the Founders' correct perception of just how unjust and counterproductive and corrupt the use of treason charges against enemies had been in the monarchies of Europe. The constant misuse of treason charges by the monarchs is a major reason why the monarchies failed and were replaced by democracies.

It was probably someone like Terrible Terry McAuliffe,the Governor of Virginia,and most likely the next Dim candidate for President unless it looks like Trump is unbeatable in 2020. Make no mistake about it,Terrible Terry is the greatest danger America faces because unlike Bathhouse Barry,DiFi,Sheila Jackson Lee and the other retards high in the party,McAuliffe is both VERY intelligent and a True Believer.
If any investigation even gets close to McAulliffe or any of the other REAL powers in the Dim Party,someone will be "volunteered" to take the blame in place of the big boy/big girl. Treason means a very specific thing in America. This is something that distinguishes us (to our credit) against other governments in general but especially in comparison to Europe's monarchies and even to the EU's modern parliamentary democracies. We forget too quickly the countries of Europe simply do not have freedom of speech and freedom of assembly and so many other things we take for granted.
