GOOGLE blacklists Natural News removes 140,000 pages from its index memory holes Natural News investigative articles on vaccines, pharma corruption, fraudulent science and more(Natural News) Late last week, I received a direct threat that warned if I did not take steps to destroy Alex Jones and InfoWars, I would be targeted for destruction in a campaign of smears, censorship and defamation.Instead of giving in to the enemy, I refused to take the bait and went public with details of the threat, warning everyone in the new media that sinister forces were now being pursued to undermine and silence every anti-establishment (and pro-Trump) voice on the internet. True to form, today the entire Natural News website has been blacklisted by Google, entirely without warning. This is just one of many censorship events that have all taken place over the last few days:
Some of the news now being censored by Google includes our laboratory testing of the U.S. water supply, where we conducted laboratory testing to discover that 6.7% of municipal water is contaminated with toxic metals. Google has also blacklisted our announcement of free laboratory testing services for Native American water supplies impacted by oil pipeline leaks. Also blacklisted is our exclusive coverage of the GlaxoSmithKline criminal indictment by the U.S. Justice Dept. and our interview with the whistleblower who helped achieved a record $3 billion settlement with the criminal drug company. Apparently, Google believes the public should no longer have access to these investigative journalism articles and 139,997 more articles that cover activism, science frauds, drug industry criminality, political corruption and more. You are witnessing a modern-day book burning by the internet Gestapo that now decides what knowledge youre never allowed to access especially because much of that knowledge can help set humanity free. I describe it in more detail in this podcast: (article continues below) Silencing Natural News is all part of the globalist script for the enslavement of a population kept ignorant of realityNatural News is, of course, one of the worlds top educational and activism sources exposing the lies of dangerous medicine, toxic mercury in vaccines, the corporate-quack science behind GMOs, cancer industry fraud and so on. By providing truthful, empowering and passionate information to the public, we harm the profit model of the corrupt medical cartels that fund the media, lobby the government and influence internet gatekeepers with advertising money. (Google has already declared war on natural medicine and nutritional supplements, all but banning them from being advertised on Google Adsense.) The removal of Natural News from Googles index means that millions of people may now be unnecessarily harmed by toxic medicines, herbicides and brain-damaging mercury in vaccines because they are being denied the other side of the story thats censored by the corporate-controlled media. By censoring Natural News, Google is, in effect, siding with the criminal pharmaceutical industry that has been charged with multiple felony crimes and caught bribing doctors, fraudulently altering scientific studies, conducting medical experiments on children and price fixing their drugs to maximize profits. In effect, censorship of Natural News is part of the establishments war on humanity which includes depopulation measures (Bill Gates), covert infertility vaccines, corporate-run media disinfo campaigns and a full-on assault against scientific truth and free speech conducted in the public interest. With the attacks on Milo, InfoWars and Natural News, what you are witnessing right now is the coordinated silencing of every voice that opposes the corrupt, globalist establishment. All such voices are being memory holed in the run-up to an attempted Orwellian-style domination over all information run by Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Twitter and other internet gatekeepers. This is all by design. It is nefarious, sinister and represents nothing less than the final desperate assault to enslave humanity by silencing truth. Targeted by anti-Trump globalistsIts clear to me that Natural News is being targeted primarily because of our support for President Trump and his review of vaccine safety. It is now apparent that any person who engages in real science, critical thinking or any attempt to protect children from the brain damaging effects of mercury in vaccines is going to be silenced, discredited, smeared and blacklisted. This is an astonishing realization about the depths of total corruption in society today and how the medical cartels control information to maximize their profits off human suffering. Note that if I had agreed to betray my colleagues and agree to participate in a smear campaign against Alex Jones, everything would have been fine with Natural News and you wouldnt see the attacks being waged against us. The tactic now being pursued by the establishment is, Join the Dark Side or be destroyed. I wont ever join the Dark Side, which means I will be silenced. The message from Google and other information gatekeepers is now clear: Obediently conform to the status quo or you will be banished from the digital realm. This is, in essence, nothing less than a modern-day book burning by anti-human globalists who are determined to keep humanity ignorant (and diseased). The real agenda of the humanity-hating globalist agenda is now on full display: Its about total domination over all information so that humanity never learns that cancer can be prevented with vitamin D, or that glyphosate herbicide causes cancer, or that statin drugs are a multi-billion-dollar medical scam. The Sheeple are all slated to be sacrificed upon the altar of Big Pharma profits, and anyone who dares stand in their way will be eliminated by any means necessary. What you can do to fight this brazen censorship and assault being waged against humanityFirst off, stop using anti-truth internet gatekeepers like Google, Facebook, Yahoo and Twitter. They are quietly controlling your thoughts, ideas and beliefs by limiting your access to valuable resources like Natural News. Second, use GoodGopher.com as your search engine, as it provides you with uncensored search results from thousands of independent media websites (many of which are banned or penalized by Google). Third, bookmark NaturalNews.com in your browser and check it at least twice daily (we post new content each morning and each evening). Manually type it into your browser if you have to. From now on, never rely on some other gatekeeper to bring you to Natural News, because those gatekeepers are censoring all our content. Be sure to also sign up to our email newsletter using the form below. This email newsletter is one of the best ways we can reach you without being filtered out by other sources. As you might expect, Gmail censors our newsletters too, so dont use a Gmail email address. (Yes, the censorship is an all-out assault.) Finally, make Censored.news a primary resource to watch for breaking news on important events that are being censored by the fake news media (CNN, WashPo, NYT, etc.). Finally, prepare for total war on humanity. Im being told from other sources that the final solution is coming soon from the globalists, and its going to be unleashed as an all-out war against Trump, liberty, free speech, natural medicine and every individual who dares stand up and speak the truth against the lying globalists and their fake news minions. The reason they are silencing Natural News, InfoWars and other outlets is because they are preparing for a very big false flag assault and they dont want independent media websites to be able to counter the official news narrative. Im serious. Get ready. Its all coming down soon. |

| They claim this is a #NoPlatform tactic by the Left. They may be right.
Over at AoS, Ace explains the tactic this way today: One of the left's recent inventions was the doctrine of "No Platforming," or #NoPlatforming, as the kids say on Twitter. The idea of it is that people should not merely oppose, contradict, refute, or rubbish statements they do not like, but apply social and economic pressure to block such statements from even being made at a venue they control (or influence). Hence, "No Platforming" -- we will blockade anyone from even providing a platform to people whose speech we don't like. |

Might have to go back to printed media. Paper news bulletins delivered by private carriers. Spy stuff like dead letter drop boxes, just for basic communications?
This high tech stuff ain't all it's cracked up to be.

Google delists Mike Adams. His hilarious tantrum about the conspiracy behind it is epic, as is my schadenfreude.
Regular readers here are probably familiar with Mike Adams and his website NaturalNews.com. Forget the antivaccine crank blog Age of Autism, when it comes to wretched hives of scum and quackery on the Internet, NaturalNews is the wretchedest, scummiest, and quackiest. Not surprisingly, Adams got his start in wingnuttery selling Y2K scams nearly 18 years ago. Now, besides presiding over a scammy online publishing empire that racks in considerable green by publishing articles laced with quackery, antivaccine pseudoscience, character assassination, and thuggery, both legal and getting a bit too close to inciting violence, Mikey fancies himself a scientist. (He also fancies himself a rapper and musician, but the less said about his rapping and vocal stylings, the better.) Hes even gone so far as to purchase a used mass spectrometer and use it to analyze everything from his competitors supplements to Flint water to the flu vaccine, resulting in pure hilarity (to real scientists) and, unsurprisingly, an interview with Americas Quack, Mehmet Oz, on The Dr. Oz Show and an instant quack bromance. Basically, if its quackery and pseudoscience, very likely Adams embraces it and probably profits from selling it. More recently, Adams has become a die-hard Donald Trump supporter and a rising star in the alt-right.
In the interests of full disclosure, I must reveal the reason for my schadenfreude. First, it appears that, for unclear reasons, Google penalized NaturalNews.com today, as Len over at Telapost noticed:
Len goes on to note that hes seen sites disappear for a day or two and come back, but as of right now he noted that NaturalNews.com is definitely missing from Google Search results. I myself also did some tests and found the same thing. At least as of my writing this, NaturalNews is:
So we dont know why NaturalNews was penalized by Google, nor do we know if this penalization is permanent, brief, or long term, but this is serious business:
When I searched for NaturalNews.com on Google, I got Adams Facebook page. I got a bunch of entries about Natural News, including RationalWikis and a couple posts by me here and at my not-so-super-secret other blog. I got a couple of domains owned by Adams and linked to NaturalNews.com, such as NewsTarget.com, Healthranger.com, and TruthWiki.org, all domains that do not appear to be affected. But I saw no direct links to NaturalNews.com. On Twitter Ive been getting reports from the UK that Adams site appears to have been delisted there as well.
Of course, its possible that, by the time you see this, Google will be indexing NaturalNews.com again. Or not. SEO might as well be black magic to me, and I am not wise in the ways of Google. I am, however, amused at Mike Adams reaction. Those of you familiar with Adams knows that to him everything is a conspiracy, and this is no exception. It couldnt possibly be that Adams did something to trigger the penalty and that there was no malice on Googles part (which is almost certainly the case). Oh, no. It had to be The Man out to get him, as this gloriously unhinged screed posted yesterday by Adams entitled GOOGLE blacklists Natural News removes 140,000 pages from its index memory holes Natural News investigative articles on vaccines, pharma corruption, fraudulent science and more. Naturally, the reason Google penalized and delisted his website is retaliation:
As is his usual M.O., Adams linked the delisting of his flagship website to well, everything, including the fall of Milo Yiannopoulos, the alt right troll known for his misogyny, slurs against and outing of LGBT people, and general nastiness. Apparently, none of that was too much for conservatives who embraced him for being politically incorrect, but when he spoke way too blithely about pedophilia, even appearing to defend it, that was too much and he was disinvited from speaking at this weeks CPAC conservative gathering and forced to resign from Breitbart. Of course, it was the opposition research and a cynical media witch hunt that brought him down. Then theres InfoWars having been blackballed by AdRoll, thus cutting into Alex Jones profits. Then, of course, there were those evil liberals pummeling the Shopify e-commerce platform to dump the Breitbart online store. Then there was this:
Schadenfreude feels so good. I truly enjoyed reading Adams rant about how you are witnessing a modern-day book burning by the internet Gestapo that now decides what knowledge youre never allowed to access especially because much of that knowledge can help set humanity free. I mean, I knew Adams was grandiose, but this is ridiculous, so much so that its worth quoting at more length than I normally do, so that you, too, can laugh at it without actually having to visit NaturalNews.com (although feel free to do so if you like, and tell Adams Orac sent you). Read it in all its unhinged glory:
Wont someone think of the children? Not surprisingly, the almost as quacky Jon Rapaport is standing behind Mike Adams in his hour of need. Of course, Adams will look very silly if this was just a glitch and his site is relisted tomorrow. Im hoping that doesnt happen, but how Google operates is the very blackest of black boxes. Who knows what happened. Im hoping the delisting sticks but fearing it wont.
In any case, Adams is either really delusional or thinks incredibly little of his readers if he can say with a straight face that Natural News is one of the worlds top educational and activism sources. In reality, it is, as I said above, the wretchedest of wretched hives of scum and quackery, now seasoned with alt right, Trump-worshiping misogyny, racism, bigotry against transgendered people, and general right wing batshit nuttiness. Even more hilarious is his claim that millions of people might now be harmed by the evil toxins, vaccines, herbicides, and everything else Adams likes to rant about.
I have to wonder, naturally, whether Googles decision to delist NaturalNews.com is part of its attempt to clean up fake news. To be honest, as much as I despise Adams and his website, Im not sure that NaturalNews.com qualifies as fake news. Adams rarely makes up stories out of whole cloth. Rather, like every good propagandist, he takes existing news stories and information sources, cherry picks from them, and then weaves them together into a deceptive, biased tale designed to rile up his readers by confirming their conspiracy theories, while misrepresenting science and evidence to fuel his quackery- supporting narratives. Thats why I dont really consider NaturalNews.com to be a fake news site, but more like a whackaloon conspiracy theory and quackery website. I realize that that could be a distinction without a true difference.
On the other hand, its a fine line between what Adams does and fake news; Im not always sure where Id draw it. Even so, theres no doubt that Adams website had serious Google juice, given all the citations, incoming links, and, these days above all, the social media shares, all coupled with a lot of traffic and reach. And that was a problem. His fake medicine and conspiracy theory articles were very widely shared on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media, and Adams has been very SEO-, social media-, and web-savvy for a very long time. His ridiculous articles promoting ridiculous conspiracy theories (that is, when he wasnt gloating over the deaths of celebrities who used conventional medicine to treat their cancer).
Oh, and playing the martyr, persecuted for well, just read:
Or, it could just be that Adams tried something with his website that Google didnt like, like bogus links, cloaking, spoofing, or doorway pages. Or something else that Google doesnt like. Theres no way of knowing. As I said before, Googles search algorithms are the blackest of black boxes.
I am, however, very much enjoying my schadenfreude, and will continue to do so as long as Adams site is delisted and he continues his tirades against Google and his victimhood conspiracies. I just started listening to Adams podcast about the whole thing:
Im sorry, I had to stop when Adams started to brag about how NaturalNews.com is true journalism that cites all its sources and does in-depth analysis. I couldnt stop laughing.

This #NoPlatform thing is a new tactic. I think they will try to drive conservatives of all stripes off Facebook, Twitter, etc. comparable to how they have cleansed academia of all conservatives.
The Left is far more dangerous than the quackery of Natural News, IMO.

Information definitely worth posting. You could be correct in your assumption with regard to supporting Trump.
I however think the reason was his continued posting of altered stories .going along with Googles stated effort to try and stop/control fake news.
Anyway, I still say he sound like a Deckard.

OK... so what are the alternatives to Google?
I mean besides losers like Bing & Yahoo!
I vaguely remember the days before Google when search engine results were much more interesting... and then Google came along and dominated everybody... and deservedly so...
But over the years, the search results seem to be much more bland...
Where do we go to escape the Google Monster?

Everyone will probably give you a different preference for their different reasons.
FWIW .here is a list for your consideration.
See: 40 Advanced and Alternative Search Engines.
I switch around and try different ones frequently. Nothing scientific, it just gives me a feeling of getting a gross cross-section. If the subject matter is important .I generally make an additional check on a couple different search engines.

Even so, if a "Deckard" who supports Trump is being targeted for deplatforming, I think we want to know about that. Conservatives have championed far loopier causes. What did we ever get out of defending George Zimmerman, a lifelong liberal Dem?
I know we do some things for principle but it seems to me that we sometimes jump on these cases just because some internet clickbaiters are hyping it to the heavens and it becomes a Big Deal. We see the same on the Left too.
Clickbaitery and manufactured outrage is a modern plague, pushing out a lot of legit political debate. It all becomes grist for someone's propaganda machine.

However, Google (and every other web spider operation out there) can access every page here at LF because Stone won't restrict them in LF's robots.txt configuration file. I would post the contents here but it appears it is now entirely blank. I know it contained the basic wildcard directives less than a year ago because I check it every so often, as I just did today.
LP and 4um have always forbidden anything more than a few top-level pages of their sites from being indexed by web spiders. On those sites, you never had to consider if your words were being compiled and stored in a dossier by Google or Bing or NSA or FBI or anyone else.
It's hard to say whether allowing web spiders helps or hurts these forums overall. I know that back when Goldie was running LP, I stuck there simply because of web spider issue. Even after getting an account here at LF, I didn't really post here until LP went offline.
Anyway, Google (and every other scumbag outfit on the internet) are poring over and recording every last word you post here, likely seeking to identify you via AI techniques, like telltale phrasing and vocabulary or punctuation habits, etc. This is called "fingerprinting" and it is very effective at identifying individuals, even if they operate behind VPNs and other camouflaging techniques (like ad-blockers, blocking cookies, private browsing sessions, etc.).
But where do the alternative search engines get their results? It varies.
DDG used to buy search results from Google but have expanded into their own crawler. And they don't rat you out to anyone and keep no records on individual searches. But no, they probably aren't quite as good as Google or as comprehensive. Even so, I am satisfied with lesser convenience and even with lesser quality searches if I don't have to be "searched" by Google in reverse.
I want to search the web, not open myself up to being searched by big private internet companies that are mining my personal info and selling to whoever, who might someday expose that info or it might turn up to be used to discriminate against me in some way. I don't want to let Google and Facebook build profiles and extensive dossiers of everything I ever write. It's bad enough that my ISP has some (small) ability to track me in that way. I'm not doing anything exciting or interesting, I just prefer my privacy. Particularly in a country that seems to have lost all sensibility over protecting privacy from invasive international corporations and from Big Government.

This isn't true, actually. The robot.txt file is only a courtesy means of site owners to state their preferences to robots on what they should and should not search. There is nothing preventing robots from indexing entire sites and ignoring the robots.txt file directives, so while friendly robots like major search engines would likely obey them, hostile robots like those of the FBI/CIA and friends would certainly have no reason to.

True enough. However, you lose any legal protection at all if you are permissive in your robots.txt or remove it altogether. It's basically like removing the locks on your doors: you can't complain if the cops come in. Or foreign intel services. Or operations like SPLC. Your lawyer will face other lawyers saying "they chose to leave the front door of their house (webserver) wide open to anyone".
It is undeniable.
As you said, it provides no real shield but most spiders do respect it. And it is the actual expression of the privacy intent (if any) of the site owner. At present, the lack of it here says: come in and database anything and everything you want to grab and you can keep it around forever until you can identify forum members just using AI techniques to parse their grammar.
Also, if anyone here said anything in violation of hate speech laws, the web caches of outfits like Google contain evidence that they would not contain if there was a restrictive robots.txt file. This could not have happened at LP or at 4um. There's no explaining that away.
Besides, it isn't as if having LF in the "legs widespread" position has done anything to improve recruitment of new members.

But it's not even a lock I would opin has no legal significance whatsoever. It's not on par with a "No Trespassing" sign on someone's front lawn, because anyone with a web browser is still welcome to visit all aspects of the site which the web server openly makes available. The robot.txt restrictions are more synonymous with a "No photos please" sign posted beside a highway billboard. Whatever is on the billboard is still being broadcast to the public, and asking people not to take photo's of it is hardly of legal significance.
Search engine spiders respect it because there's somewhat of a mutually beneficial relationship between publicly accessible search engines and site owners. Site owners might not want spiders to access duplicate content that can be found by somewhat differing URLs, as the additional spidering would needlessly use up bandwidth.
I would disagree that it's an expression of privacy, as it only applies to content that is already NOT private to any person browsing the net. Someone who wants privacy would at minimum utilize password control to the site, which is in fact one feature the Pinguinite software offers. I.e. one must be logged in to read any articles or comments. THAT would be private and would lock out any spider.... that didn't have log in credentials.
This is true. If the robot's file is set to filter out comments then it's unlikely any evidence of illegal writings would end up in major search engine databases. But of course it wouldn't stop any hostile search spiders from collecting the same on a fishing expedition basis.

I would actually be interested to see an entirely private Pinguinite forum like that. I'm not sure it would be any larger than LF (or LP or 4um) but I don't think it would necessarily be any smaller either.

But yeah, it seems facebook and other social network sites have pretty much replaced the web site discussion forum for the most part. The Facebook corporate headquarters which houses all their web servers is constantly under construction, expanding their hardware warehouses, laying concrete, erecting walls and roofs and then putting in racks, hardware, hard drives and so on. It's a perpetual expansion, until the next high tech innovation makes FB obsolete.

Yeah but only Robin (and Pericles) ever posted there, it seemed.
You recall that LP started as an alternative to FR and then a refuge from Viking Kitty crap. A private forum could still fill that niche, I think. When Robinson started posting at LP and monitoring it, it really hurt LP IMO. He was what they wanted to get away from but without actually leaving FR.
Of course, LP grew as a refuge from FR back when Twitter and Facebook weren't around or were very small. Perhaps people go to Twitter or Facebook or other phone apps without considering joining up with any Web 1.0 forum like FR or LF or similar.
