(CNN)This is the cutest thing you'll see all day -- maybe even all week.

A fully uniformed police officer sitting in a tiny chair, at a tiny table, with a tiny girl -- having a tea party.

Corporal Patrick Ray, 30, saved 2-year-old Bexley's life a year ago when she choked on a coin at her home in Rowlett, Texas.

"Her lips were completely blue," her mother, Tammy Norvell, 41, told CNN. She called 911, and Ray was there within minutes.

"I could not believe how fast he got here," Norvell said.

He was able to pry Bexley's mouth open to perform a "finger sweep." His body camera captured the moment she started breathing again.

"It was the most beautiful sound I'd ever heard in my entire life," Ray told CNN affiliate KTVT.

He came to check on Bexley in the hospital after doctors determined she swallowed a coin.

"Last time I checked, that was not their job description," Norvell said. To celebrate a year of life after that scary day, Bexley's mother, Tammy Norvell, wanted to do something to commemorate the occasion.

She decided on a photoshoot, in the theme of a tea party.

"We do tea parties all the time," said photographer Chelle Cates, "but we don't normally invite grown men to them."

Normally.

Cates said Ray was a natural.

"He picked up that tiny little chair and sat down," she said, "I didn't give him a lot of direction."

The two unlikely friends shared Apple Jacks and Oreos.

"He just talked to her and asked her how her Oreos were," she said. But why mark a day that could have ended tragically?

"I wanted to make something positive out of a negative thing," Norvell told CNN. Ray saved Bexley's life that day, "I'm not going to let someone like that walk out of my life," Norvelle said.

It was the beginning of a beautiful (albeit unlikely) friendship.

Trully, a touching story. It brings back sanity to an otherwise violent nation.

She was even bright enough AND kind enough to even ensure the cop had a "doughtnut," albeit, a very tiny Apple Jacks.

Surprised you posted a well written article. Decktard will be pissed. You'll set the Black Lies Matters movement back to the pre civil war era.

What did you think about the little girl's gift to the cop of an Apple Jack? I hope the cop took it in good stride.

Suggestion: When a great story like this is posted, don't wreck it by reminding the world about personal pissing contests. It tends to ruin it, so out of respect, not for anyone here, but for the story alone, post either complimentary content, or no content at all.

My 2c.

How about linking to a post of mine where I said I supported or agreed with BLM?

Oh, you can't do that?

Guess that makes you a lying POS.

I do however support 'Black Olives Matter'.

That ranks high among the most stupid and irrational posts you have ever made.

Guess that make you an IDIOT.

'Black Olives Matter'.

BTW, why don't you post a link to a comment of mine where I supported BLM.

Oh you can't?

That makes both you and FireIsland lying scumbags then.

It must be.

In any case, you are doing the same thing to the thread that you "chastised" GrandIsland for doing...."disrupting" it.

And now, unfortunately....we are all three doing it.

So I will cease.

Mine was positive in nature. Or so was intended. Obviously I've had my spats with GI and you, but I'll pull out an olive branch for a good story, like the one on this thread. To not say anything would invite more disruption on future good stories. I would say the same to Deckard.

Confession?

Yeah - I support a restaurant that took flack from BLM because they posted a sign outside their business that said "Black Olives Matter"

Good grief, you are one clueless assclown.

Geez - the initials aren't even the same you blithering ninny!
