On June 21, Gretchen Carlson devoted the closing minutes of her afternoon Fox News show, “The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson,” to discussion of a milestone: She turned 50 that day.

“I know, normally folks on TV wouldn’t readily admit their age, but since there’s nothing you can do about it, you might as well own it and be happy,” she said with a laugh. “And, boy, do I have so much to be grateful for.”

Two days later, she was summoned to a postshow meeting with a Fox News executive and told that, after 11 years at the network, her contract was not being renewed. The meeting took less than a minute, according to her lawyer, Nancy Erika Smith.

I never cared for Gretchen, anyway. Find it hard to believe she was the best looking pageant member, back when she won.

I'm betting she has a man hating agenda. Agendas suck. People that have them can't look at the bigger picture. Useless.

Gretchen Carlson Sticks to Her Guns on Assault Weapons After Fox News Viewers’ Vicious Reactions.

Fox News host Gretchen Carlson stunned pretty much everyone Tuesday when she told viewers that she supports reinstating the assault weapons ban. On Wednesday, Carlson revealed that Fox viewers viciously attacked her with “tons of f-bombs” for the heresy, reading some of the tamer responses on the air. Despite the fallout, Carlson stuck to her guns, as it were, telling viewers that it’s time to “get real” and address the gun side of the mass shooting equation, and calling out the “intolerance” of her critics:

I could never find a reason to watch her show, I tried a few times.
I could not understand why Fox was keeping her on.
It appears they couldn't either and it looks now like they were just waiting for her contract to run out.

And now:

It would appear that she had a “career death wish” by going after the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms on FOX News, of all places.

Fox News’s Gretchen Carlson Accidentally Forgot To Be Stupid Again.

Women -- like blacks and other minorities -- are going to find that because they're so difficult to fire, companies will find a reason not to hire them to begin with.

I read her lawsuit. What a bunch of pissant, petty accusations. She comes across as a whiny, spoiled brat who thinks she's better than she actually is.
