Their reputation was destroyed after Ruby Ridge and Waco.

Not to mention the creating and grooming of terrorists in the United States.

I don't know of anyone who is surprised by this outcome.

Comey has also destroyed his own reputation.

At his press conference Comey should have done the right thing and claimed that Shitlery was guilty as hell, and then resigned. Even though he is a political appointee. But I suspect that his family is in danger. If that is the case, then he did not have any choice.

I will not be surprised if sometime he gets "Arkansided".
