BREAKING – Hillary Clinton met Saturday morning with the FBI regarding the agency’s investigation into her use of a private email server for official correspondence while secretary of state.

The voluntary meeting lasted about three-and-a-half hours and was conducted at the FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C, according to the Clinton campaign.

Clinton “is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion” campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement. He also said Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, will not make further comment about the interview.

Clinton’s use of the private server and email address -- particularly whether the setup was used for classified information and how secure they were -- has cast a shadow over her campaign from the start.

The FBI investigation is purportedly coming to a close, and the Clinton interview is considered among the final steps in the case.

Earlier this week, the entire, ongoing email scandal grew when Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, initiated an impromptu meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who decides whether to bring charges in the case.

The FBI is probably giving her a "pat on the back."

"The FBI is probably giving her a "pat on the back."

If they don't indict, I can see a President Trump purging the entire FBI administration.

I would have preferred this " interview " to have been conducted by Spetsnaz , in the bowels of a freighter in the middle of the Atlantic.

You think an indictment is forthcoming?

Beats the heck out of me. The evidence might compel Comey to recommend an indictment. The meeting with Bill and the AG stinks. But I just don't know if the Justice Dept of this administration would approve any indictment for anything, regardless of the evidence or recommendation. It may depend on the relationship between Obama and Hillary and where the heck that is these days.

If it were certain that there would be no FBI recommendation for indictment, then I do not see a need for the tarmac meeting between Slick and the AG. There could have been some concern with Huma Abedin's deposition, but my best guess is the FBI/Comey told Hillary this week was her last chance to talk to them about the investigation and Slick tried to intervene with Lynch to get another delay. It's just a guess. I do not believe the meeting was just a happening but was planned, at least by Bill Clinton.

I second that opinion.

Two conflicting principles in the FBI . 1st one is that no one is above the law. 2nd one is that their investigations cannot influence the political process. Whatever they are going to do has to be done this month. It may already be too late . I hear Joe Biden is tanned ,rested and ready. His VP pick ,the blond hair blue eyed native American is already practicing her attack dog techniques on the campaign trail.

A possibility is that it was just Bill, knowing there would be no indictment, building up public expectation for the possibility of an indictment.

Well, I think those Clintons are sweating it right now. The best thing Ms. Lynch really should be doing is to recuse herself because this smells bad of collusion. It has the appearance of collusion and obstruction of justice.

The Clinton criminal enterprise must be brought to justice.

If they do not feel the swift hand of justice there will be no peace.

Good estimation [Sic]

I am not acting the part of the forum spelling Nazi because during my speed keying and neglect to proof read, I make a great number of spelling errors. However, I really did break up and laugh very loudly when I read your post here.

Reading your spelling error caused me to instantly visualized you dropping your left hand with the limp wrist movement that many associate with male homosexuality and you having a lisp where you were pronouncing “estimation” to make the “s” sound like “th.”

Come on, Bucky boy ... LAUGH!

You have to admit this is really funny … albeit also somewhat degrading.

I have my doubts it is possible with an Obama Justice Department. What are the odds that Obama knew about the server all along and he is also vulnerable if Hillary starts screeching to prosecutors?

of course he knew . Everyone in the government who emailed her knew she was working off an unauthorized server .
