Officer Goodson trial seen as pivotal to Marilyn Mosby's political career.

June 23, 2016

Eyes from around the country were on Baltimore Police Officer Caesar Goodson Jr. Thursday as he was aquitted of all charges related to the death of Freddie Gray.

But there's another person who is likely to draw similar attention: Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby.

Political observers say the outcome of the officers' trials could have a large impact on the political career of Mosby, who gained international attention last May when she announced charges against the officers on the steps of the War Memorial building in Baltimore, days after arson and looting rocked the city.

Of course it will affect her future. In true liberal fashion her failures and zeal to go after "enemies" (of theirs) will be rewarded. You are looking at a future Loretta Lynch.

Could? It damn well better. She should be treated no differently than prosecutor Mike Nifong -- disbarred and jailed.

"Will never happen."

It would if she were a white male.

Speaking of Nifong - remember, he is a white heterosexual male. And I don't know if he was a D or not (probably was, given where he was from), but on rare occasions being a white male trumps being a D if the offense was grievous enough.

And in the case of his persecuting (intended) the Duke La Cross team, it certainly was.

As for Mosby, being a black AND a female, she will suffer no negative consequences. Indeed, her actions qualify her for high office in the Zero (or any subsequent) democrat administration.
