Black Outrage Over Gorilla Shot To Protect ‘White Privilege’. Just One Problem…

Do you feel strongly about Harambe, the hapless gorilla executed by Cincinnati zoo to protect the life of the four-year old child Isaiah whose stupid, irresponsible parents allowed him to crawl into the gorilla’s pen?

Well I do too. Especially when you realise – at least by some accounts – that the gorilla was actually trying to protect the child not kill it.

But I don’t think in the outrage stakes any of us can quite compete with the angry black people in social media forums who have been blaming the incident on entrenched white privilege.

There’s just one flaw in this GorillaLivesMatter thesis. Can you guess what it is?

Animals aren't "equal" to humans. The zoo professionals knew that if they confronted that gorilla to try and remove the child he now claimed... the child would mostl likely die. They did the right thing as unfortunate for the gorilla it was.

Now, if you can build a case that millennium mommy was a dysfunctional mother... then charge her for endangering the welfare of a child and send that bimbo a bill for the cost of the gorilla.

I like how the writer of this article, the filthy libtarded tree hugger he or she is, is so much more qualified to know how that gorilla will react when confronted with removal of the child.

F' you, libtards and your warm fuzzy loving empathetic fantasy world you live in. Real Life doesn't always play out as WEAK as you've evolved.

From reported first person accounts, cell phone videos and statements from gorilla specialists that were all included in the news stories I've read, would be my guess.

That makes all you libtards experts, huh Cranky? Your witnesses watch it first hand and by God, they must know more than the animal handlers how this gorilla will react to actual confrontation.

Keep posting your libtarded articles to carry forward your closet libtarded views of (D) platform animal rights. This article was written to promote an equality idiology amongst the weak minded sheeple of today... by inflaming those that haven't a clue.

Jim Fowler, you know - the animal guy was on this morning.

His take on it was that they did the right thing killing the gorilla instead of trying to tranquilize it, mostly due to the unknown reaction from the gorilla when being shot by a dart. Plus it takes a while for the tranq to take effect.

I agree.

Apparently the mom only looked away for a few seconds, there's no evidence she was neglectful.

You mean other than her child ending up in the gorilla pit.

But you're right. New rule. If the mother looks away less than, say, five seconds, she's not at fault if her child ingests poison, runs into traffic, sticks a paper clip into an electrical socket, pulls the trigger on a loaded gun, whatever.

Now, for anyone to get pissed at the shooting of this ANIMAL, outs their libtard ass as a KILLary wannabe.

Can you imagine if the mother was an off duty cop and she looked away for just one second... or if she was on duty and she looked away for one second... and OMG, an animal died. Can you imagine just how assholish Puckard would have been?

There are times when a mom can only look away for a few seconds and then there are times when it unsafe and utterly stupid for her to do so.

The latter is the case here, it was one of those times it was unsafe and stupid to do ... standing by a gorilla cage a child can crawl into. so.

Will you bleeding heart asshole liberal Paultards ever face reality ... I fear not!!!

Your stupidity never ceases to amaze me, Dectard.

There is no reality for Paultards, they only have fantasies. It is their severe nature they prohibits them from distinguishing between reality and fantasy. Their psychosis takes them into a libertarian dream world where their behavior is subject to uncontrollable impulsive behavior.

An old gorilla joke … but maybe you will enjoy it again.

A man wakes up one morning to find a gorilla on his roof.
So he looks up the yellow pages and sure enough, there's an ad for "Gorilla Removers".
He calls the number, and the gorilla remover says he will be there in 30 minutes.
The gorilla remover arrives and gets out of his van.
He's got a ladder, a baseball bat, a shotgun and a huge, ferocious looking pitt bull.
The homeowner asks, what are you going to do?
I'm going to put up this ladder against the roof.
Then I'm going to go up there and knock the gorilla off the roof with the bat.
When the gorilla falls off, the pit bull is trained to grab the gorilla's testicles and lock his jaws on them.
The gorilla will be subdued enough for me to lock him in the cage in the back of the van.
The gorilla remover then hands the shotgun to the homeowner.
The homeowner asks what the shotgun is for.
The gorilla remover says if the gorilla knocks ME off the roof, shoot the damn pit bull.

What do you suggest - that parents put their kids in a protective bubble 24/7?

Sometimes kids will get injured no matter how watchful the parents are.

That's called "life".

It sucks sometimes, but near tragedies like this one will happen no matter how careful the mother (or father) is.

Your responses and your authoritarian mindset here at LF could conceivably make the case that "the only good cop is a dead one".

I'd never say that - but others might.

That pretty much seems to be the prevailing opinion.

Some have added that tranquilizers often times require multiple applications and time was not on their side.

Too bad for the gorilla and maybe too bad for the mother.

Needless to say, charges are being considered.

That's the way it looked to me in the video. He clearly had the opportunity to harm the child, and instead seemed to gently gather him in to protect him.

IMO,the zoo personnel panicked at the thought of a law suit, and killed that gorilla for no reason at all. Even in the wild gorillas are gentle animals and even though they do a lot of "false charges" to scare dangers away,it is almost unheard of for a wild gorilla to attack a human. When you consider this is a tame gorilla that has been fed and cared for by humans all his life,it is ridiculous to think he would have harmed the child.

But I don’t think in the outrage stakes any of us can quite compete with the angry black people in social media forums who have been blaming the incident on entrenched white privilege.

You have to cut them some slack, here. Many probably think the gorilla is a blood relative, and maybe even a top NFL draft pick they could sell drugs and white whores.

Why even shoot the gorilla with a tranq gun? Why not try to distract him to the other side of the enclosure or into his pen with his favorite food, and then just go in and get the kid?

Yeah, the gorilla probably would have reacted in a violent way to the kid when he felt the pain of the dart going in. Most likely he would have associated the pain with the kid.

Which is why the zoo staff should have tried to distract him with some of his favorite snacks.
