Report: Gun that killed Trayvon sold for $250,000
Zimmerman claimed auction 'raised funds for several worthy causes'
(Reuters) George Zimmerman said he has sold the gun he used to kill unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin in Florida in 2012 for $250,000, television stations in Orlando and Las Vegas reported on Friday.
Zimmerman could not be reached to verify the reports by KTNV in Las Vegas and WOFL in Orlando.
His offer to sell the Kel-Tec PF9 9mm handgun on UnitedGunGroup.com drew praise from gun rights supporters and scorn from critics who accused him of seeking to profit from the 17-year-olds death.
Online bidding for the gun ended on Wednesday.

Really? I have that exact gun and it works like a charm for conceal carry. I have all kinds of pistols and its the one I carry because of the size. It has never failed and I can not recall it ever jamming on me.
Yes I would prefer a bigger gun for my hand size but as a conceal gun its perfect. I replaced my Ruger lcp 380 for the Keltec pf9. I can nearly hind the gun in my hand. I would rather carry my 1911 kimber, my glock or my beretta 92 but those guns pull my pants down and are impossible to conceal carry in hot humid climate and allow a person to work.

Once more you have no idea what you are talking about, but proud to be broadcasting your ignorance. I have had one in 9mm ever since they came out,and it is very reliable, and very accurate.
I also have several friends that own and like them.
In FACT,you are the only one I have ever seen or heard of that thinks they are garbage.
Then again, what do I know about guns? I am only a former career SF weapons man and a school trained gunsmith with a degree in gunsmithing.

The gun was made and designed as a cheap concealable weapon. It's overall quality and craftsmanship is garbage compared to an H&K, Colt or even Glock.
People buy them because they are cheap. It is what it is, regardless of your vast ancient firearm training.
I know people that own and have friends that own High Points that never had a problem... doesn't mean they aren't a piece of shit either.
Kel-tec's were designed to be sold at a cheap price point... and that's why you bought it. Because it was cheap and you're too much a pussy to buy and carry a quality full sized .45acp. I can hear you crying now.... it's too heavy... it's uncomfortable.
You pussy.

DAYUM,Gracie, are you ALWAYS over-compensating for your homosexuality and fear by posting false uber-macho bullshit?
It is tempting to say you would never make it through jump school, never mind SFTG,but the truth is you probably wouldn't even be allowed to apply because of your deep-seated psychological issues and low self-esteem that fuels your irresistible urge to over-compensate verbally.

Most sheep today select a gun and caliber based on size and carry comfort... like everything else in this day and age, people are weak. Mentally and physically. You are one. Probably based on your age and the fact that you're close to death with one foot in the grave at your age. Hopefully, 60 years ago, you had the strength to carry a real handgun.
Enjoy the peashooter.

More blotivating whining from a member of the Village people.
I can't speak for your fantasy world, but in the REAL world a single stack magazine is all I need because I hit what I am shooting at,and unlike you,I have actually been shot at and returned fire.
Go back to playing your video games with the other children where you use rocket launchers to take out teen punks with handguns, and get wood thinking about it,poser.

You are a liar. You carry a single stack piece of shit because you don't want to carry something bigger. The "I only need one bullet because I'm the greatest shooter I know" is an old worthless argument. Why doesn't the US government issue a single stack? Why doesn't LE agencies? Why don't most active gunman nuts shoot up schools with Kel-Tecs?
Shut your maw. It is what it is... an old, weak, near dead gramps that still wants to carry a gun like he did in the military 65 years ago... but doesn't have the ass to do it anymore.

I'm thinking about the S&W 642 (similar to the LCP) for concealed carry. Why did you switch?

Plus I wanted a 9m instead of the 380 for more stopping power.

Wassamadda, lil boy? Can't stand any criticism of your video-game/movie hero gear?
The "I only need one bullet because I'm the greatest shooter I know" is an old worthless argument.
I'm not and never have been a cop,so I have never needed to shoot 173 times to kill one man standing 15 feet away. Not to mention a couple of innocent bystanders from your cowardly spray and pray tactics.
People are big targets, but in your defense,I guess they are hard to hit when you are shooting with your eyes closed.
Why doesn't the US government issue a single stack?
They did for over 70 years, you dumbass. If wasn't until your generation of losers came along that made them decide to carry more rounds.
Most of you bozo's have no business even carrying a gun.You piss your pants like a bunch of little girls when some gang-banging punk shows up holding a Glock sideways, and pull your triggers until your guns are empty because you are in a full-tilt panic.
Why doesn't LE agencies?
Because you are mostly a pack of posers who panic and can't hit what you are shooting at? Face it,it's cops that invented the "spray and pray" tactic for handgun shooting.
Why don't most active gunman nuts shoot up schools with Kel-Tecs?
Because Kel-Tec's aren't big enough to make them feel like "real men that can carry and shoot a real gun"? The reality is that they aren't much different from you. I bet you would carry a 50 cal Desert Eagle if they would let you. SOME people call that "little hand syndrome".
Shut your maw. It is what it is... an old, weak, near dead gramps that still wants to carry a gun like he did in the military 65 years ago... but doesn't have the ass to do it anymore.
I bet you are do a lot of saying that as well as "Make my day punk!" and various other Clint Eastwood quotes as you stand in front of your bedroom mirror dressed up in all your Tactical Tommy gear with crossed bandoliers over your chest, don't you?
BTW,the only thing I have ever killed with my Kel-Tec to date is a cottonmouth moccasin. Hit him in the head with the first shot from about 15 feet. You would have probably wet your Depends and called the SWAT team to deal with him after you fired off all 200 rounds of Tommy Tactical Super Dooper Doper Hollow-Points and missed with them all.

As you get older arthritis is a real consideration. It makes it harder to get a good grip on really small guns, and it makes it harder to flip a safety off.
Those were both considerations when I decided to start carrying my 5 shot 44 Special with the bobbed hammer spur, and the Kel-Tec. Not a big fan of 9mm's,but it's better than throwing rocks and it doesn't have a safety to take off before firing, and it doesn't have a rear sight to snap as you pull it from your pocket. This is going to make Fire Island's head explode, but I don't even carry reloads for my 44 Special. I figure by the time I have fired it 5 times there is either bound to be somebody around who no longer needs his gun,or I am no longer in need of one myself.

Btw... during most of the years the military carried single stack 1911's, double stack mag technology wasn't that great. They weren't all that reliable. You won't ever see the military go back to single stacks OR A SINGLE ACTION AUTOLOADER. Dip shit.
No need to carry a single stack in today's day and age unless you're too much a pussy to hoist around a bigger gun.
Pussy.

Yeah, causen it takes a REAL macho man to carry around a few extra ounces, huh?
You really need to look up the definition of the word "overcompensating".

"Released in 1994, the Glock 26 has become the most highly sought after concealed carry firearm on the market. In a pinch, it can accept larger Glock magazines and it can be altered easily to allow for right-handed/left-handed operators."
Have fun carrying your single stack piece of shit. It's nice and thin like a maxi pad... you pussies buy for comfort. You pussies also need a "safety"... as I saw you tell someone further up the thread ("and it makes it harder to flip a safety off.").
So bitch, keep your finger OFF the trigger until you are ready to fire... and your BRAIN are the only "safety" needed. At your age does your finger and brain still work?

Smarter. I don't like Glocks. I know they are trendy with the buzzcut crowd and their fan bois, and will admit that if used by someone with experience and mature judgement that doesn't also carry other brands of handguns, they can be excellent handguns.
They are dangerous if you are used to carrying handguns with traditional trigger systems, though. LOTS of AD's with Glocks when they first came out.
Since I already have several different handguns I carry for different reasons at different times,I see no need for me to buy and get used to a Glock.
You pussies also need a "safety"..
Yeah, causen "REAL men" don't need no stinking safety, huh?
You couldn't be more homo if you tried.
I saw you tell someone further up the thread ("and it makes it harder to flip a safety off.")
I know you live in a fantasy world were you are a super killer in video games, but in the REAL world,if you have arthritis in your hands it CAN be difficult to flip a safety off,and it may even cause you to drop the gun if you have to shift it's position in your hand to be able to reach the safety.
Then again, you don't live in the real world,so this obviously doesn't apply to you or the other 13 year olds you game with.
So bitch, keep your finger OFF the trigger until you are ready to fire... and your BRAIN are the only "safety" needed. At your age does your finger and brain still work?
The day will never come when I need to take firearms advise from a no-nothing power like you.
