With both Senator Ted Cruz and now Ohio Governor John Kasich having dropped out of the GOP presidential primary, the path to the nomination is now clear for Donald Trump. Being the party's presumptive nominee, speculation has begun as to who the billionaire will choose as his running mate.

It was just a proffer of Newt. I was only joking about Warren. Newt carries some baggage. If Trump is looking for someone to help with Congress, Sessions seems a more likely choice. If Trump is looking for help with a battleground state or an ethnic group or women, it would be somebody else.
