A new viral rap song that encourages the assassination of Donald Trump and calls for riots of he wins the presidency is being celebrated by the music media.
Entitled F**k Donald Trump, the track was performed live in front of 20,000 people at the Coachella music festival this past weekend by hip-hop artists YG and Nipsey Hussle.
The lyrics for the song openly invoke death threats against Trump and vow to stage violence if he takes the Oval Office.
Here are some choice excerpts;
All the niggas in the hood wanna fight you
Surprised El Chapo aint tried to snipe you
Surprised the Nation of Islam aint tried to find youHave a rally out in L.A., we gon fuck it up
Home of the Rodney King riot, we dont give a fuckYou built walls? We gong prolly dig holes
And if your ass do win, you gong prolly get smoked
F**k nigga, f**k you! When me and Nip link, thats Bloods and Crips
Where your L.A. rally? We gon crash your shit
The song also explicitly encourages criminals to commit voter fraud with the line, And if you been to jail you can prolly still vote.
The line, He got me appreciating Obama way more, makes it clear where YG and Nipsey Hussle stand politically.
During the production of the video for the song, cops were forced to shut down filming because they feared a riot could have broken out.
Despite the violent content of the lyrics, the track is being hailed by the music media.
The song has received positive reviews from Billboard.com, the Source, MTV and numerous other outlets.
The black-and-white visuals serve as a de facto anti-Trump rally, as YG and Nip are joined by hundreds, marching in the street and uniting across genders, ages, races and sets YG, a Blood, and Nispey Hussle, a Crip for a singular cause, writes MTVs Adam Fleischer.
Presumably, Fleischer thinks that openly inviting the murder of the potential future president is a worthy cause.
This is not the first example of a rap song that endorses the assassination of a presidential contender being praised by the media.
As we previously highlighted, a track entitled F*ck Trump Anthem contains a number of violent threats towards the presidential candidate, including a vow to cave Trumps head in with a shovel and a promise that if he visits Baltimore, Trump will die. One of the lines in the rap also talks about filling Trump with hollow point bullets.
The track was hailed by Billboard.com as a powerful viral protest song, who noted that it landed a barrage of verbal blows on Trump.
One wonders what the reaction would have been if a group of hillbillies from Alabama had made a music video for a song in which they threatened to kill Hillary Clinton.
I dont think it would have received much air play on MTV.

Or Bathhouse Barry. Can you imagine the screams of outrage if some southern rock bank came out with a song about murdering/assassinating the current resident of the Off-White House?
As for the rest of it,the riots, attacking whites, open racial warfare, all I have to say about that is if you will promise faithfully to fire the opening shots,I promise to vote for Trump.
Bring it,posers!

Gosh, do you really think Johnny Cash "shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die"?
Maybe you think Bob Marley "...shot the sheiff, but did not shoot the deputy."
Or Jimi Hendrix was "...goin' down to shoot my old lady (because he) ...caught her messin' 'round with another man.
What a frigging putz!
