Yes, you read that correctly.
Democrat candidate for President Jim Webb has endorsed Donald Trump for President, not Hillary.
Wow just wow.
What a strange race we are witnessing. After hinting about it for awhile, Jim Webb has admitted he will vote for Trump over Hillary.
A man who actually shared the stage with Hillary and Bernie will be voting for a Republican.
From Prntly:
On Morning Joe this week, Democratic legend Jim Webb said hed vote for Trump before he would vote for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
A military veteran and former Senator himself, Webb likely could not overlook the decision by Hillary Clinton to ignore the repeated calls for extra security by Ambassador Stevens in Libya weeks before the fatal attack on the consulate in Benghazi.
Hillary admitted error in the attack during investigation proceedings led by Senator Rand Paul and Trey Gowdy, but brushes off calls to be held accountable or step down, citing that security analysts were to blame for the failure of security.
Jim Webb is certainly not the first Democrat to endorse Trump; reportedly hundreds of thousands of blue collar democrats poll in favor of the Donald. But he is certainly the highest profile Democratic pol to come out with an endorsement of Trump over Hillary.
Webb was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Attending the Marine Corps Officer Basic School shortly after leaving Annapolis, he graduated first in his class. He was promoted to first lieutenant in the second half of his tour in Vietnam. He served as a platoon commander with Delta Company, 1st Battalion 5th Marines. He was awarded the Navy Cross for heroism in Vietnam, the second highest decoration in the Navy and Marine Corps. Webb also was awarded the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars, and two Purple Hearts.

He had a choice between two people he has been acquainted to for a number of years and Webb knows Trump makes deals that don't end up with him six feet under.

So does anybody that has read his first book and understand what his bio means.
Whatever he has said or done since then takes nothing away from what he did as a young Marine officer in VN.

He took on the mantle of Secretary of the Navy at one point - was it for Reagan? - and then did the utterly honorable thing: when he was not listened to or treated with respect on subjects he considered vital for the national defense, because of politics, he resigned.
Estranged from the Republicans by their cavalier treatment of national security, he later ran as a Democrat and won a Senate seat, but soon he was entangled in brawls with Democrats over national security.
He's a principled guy with a Scotch-Irish temperament. His endorsement of Trump tells me that he has looked at the field, considered who is best for the country, and when it comes to a showdown between Trump and Clinton, will not forget that Clinton not only made an error that left soldiers and a US Ambassador exposed to face terrifying deaths unnecessarily but then would not take personal responsibility for it. Webb himself resigned his own Secretarial office because he was not being listened to on vital matters. Hillary clung to hers even after she got people killed.
Webb's right, and he's picked the best candidate for America in this election.

That isn't an endorsement.
That's the old lesser of two evils choice. I'd do the same, but only if there isn't a third or fourth choice.

Who would that third or fourth choice have to be for you to vote for them?

Good point,Fred.
AKA is a Trump cheerleader, and he is pumping those pom poms in a effort to spin a bland statement into a statement of support for Hillary.
He pretty much has to spin it because just how freaking horrible does a candidate have to be for Bubbette! to be a more rational choice?
Voting for Trump is the equivalent of putting a 12 year old boy with ADD in charge of nuclear weapons.

Then according to you Webb must be a total moron.
That's ok. People who think tow men can be married aren't real Americans.

You are either kidding,or insane.
Trump is a punk on his best day,and totally unqualified to be anything but a bleeting head. His lawyers and accountants make all the decisions. He is nothing but a front man.

You are so jealous of Trump. You live in a can.
You said Trump would never run for President because he couldn't bare to lose control of his company. Now your other ass cheek says the opposite.
Pete I like you. But honestly you're pretty dumb sometimes.
Have a good day.

Yeah....that's like being jealous of PeeWee Herman, but a version of Pee Wee that has no talent at all.
Trump is a cartoon character posing as an adult.

PeeWee Herman was on Gotham last Monday as Penguin's until then, unknown dad. On free FOX TV 8 p.m. Mondays. I used to watch PeeWee's Playhouse on Saturday mornings way back then.

How the hell did I miss that? I record every episode. You have to admit that PeeWee and Penquin really "fit" the father and son mold.
Man alive, but there are some characters on that show that flat act their asses off. Penquin is one of them. So is the guy that played the redheaded gangster that also plays one of the brothers in Shameless.
There is so much good talent out there these days that it is amazing.

It's better than the first season. This is normally the type of show I hate, but I watched the first episode of season 1 just to check it out,and the acting was so good I could over look the "Bruce Wayne"/Batman nonsense. Truth to tell,I had no idea it was a "pre-Batman series or I would never have watched it.
Talk about your flaming homos! A rich Billionaire named "Bruce" that likes to run around in tight rubber, and his "boy ward" named Robin that dresses in tights with his underwear on the outside? It doesn't get any queerer/NAMBLA than that. I was a little kid maybe in the 1st grade the first and only time I ever bought a Batman comic book, and had no idea what a homosexual,or even a heterosexual was,and it creeped me out so bad I threw it away.

The (future) cat lady actress on Gotham is good too. Yes, lots of good acting in that show.

Remember Carol Kane, the actress that played Penguin's mother?
She played Andy Kaufmann's mother on I think just one episode, and it was so funny she won the comedy award that year. I caught the show when it aired,it may have been the funniest tv show I have ever seen. Ranks right up there with the old Bob Eubanks "The Newlywed Show".

You need to check out Homeland,The Blacklist,The Americans,Shameless,Game of Thrones,Burn List,Breaking Bad,Vikings,Justified,The Shield,Sons of Anarchy (if you can stand hardcore scooter trash that wear bright white sneakers),and a whole bunch of other ones. There must be 25 or 30 regular tv shows being aired now that are a match for any movie that has ever been produced,a hour at a time. Some of the shows mentioned are no longer current, but there are reruns all over the place.
