No system is perfect but socialism is terrible. Capitalism has prove to be the best of a bad lot. Crony capitalism is where capitalism breaks down and turns into socialism/fascism.

Capitalism works but needs strong laws that benefit individual freedoms and self responsibilities. It gets perverted when people start demanding government make results equal which can not be done because people are different. Equal chances under the law is the best one can ask for. This is being found out in Europe where they bring in all these immigrants and can not understand why they keep taking and not working. Capitalism does not concentrate wealth into fewer and fewer hands. Cronyism does that, but people call that capitalism.

Business licenses, corporations, taxation, Federal regulation. All those things benefit the wealthy not the masses.

This country could seriously get along without a Federal government except in very few instances where they are needed. To make war, to regulate trade....which means to keep without hindrance not hinder it, and a court system nearly covers all of them that are needed.

The reason power is concentrated in DC is because it is harder for the peons to make changes. The people can be controlled, and cannot strike back easily.

In my mind the Federal government is a foreign entity. It is no different than having the UN or China running the country. We the People have no power.......NONE. They grant to us the right to life, or benefits. Both are a a present from our Washington father.

No it is your attitude towards your responsibilities, you have school pupils recite the alliegence daily but are they taught the responsibilities that go with it and I'm not talking about rights, but responsibilities.
