ALL IS WELL! ALL IS WELL! President Barack Obama sought to reassure nervous diners during his trip to the coastal town of Theodore, Alabama Monday that seafood from the Gulf of Mexico is as tasty and safe as it ever was, despite the ever expanding oil spill blanketing the area. “I had some of that seafood for lunch, and it was delicious,” Obama said, “We want to make sure that the food industry down here, as much as possible, is getting the protection and certification that they need to continue their businesses.” The president said that multiple agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association are stepping up their efforts to keep the food supply safe. State and federal agencies will be monitoring fish caught near restricted areas to ensure that they are safe to consume. That increased scrutiny wasn’t enough for at least one Gulf Coast seafood lover. Steve Platts, a resident of Gulfport, Mississippi who used to eat seafood daily, now insists he will no longer eat fish from local waters. He thinks that between the oil and the dispersant chemicals used to clear the slick, the health risk is too high. “I don’t want to fish or eat the fish anymore,” Platts lamented, “I don’t trust anything coming out of the Gulf.”

Note he didn't claim it was from the Gulf. Nuff said.
The fact is Obama ate whatever his staff allowed for him to eat, assuming he's not just outright lying about eating seafood. If he did eat seafood, it was probably something like tilapia imported from China. No way they let him eat the Gulf fish.

Regardless of your opinion of Obama, your article states that the food was from the Gulf and Obama said that was the food he ate. Boofer didn't read your article and he, like you, is unable to admit to a mistake until his balls are twisted tighter than a peel and eat twizzler and then, maybe...
The article states what Obama said he ate. If his lips are moving, he is lying.
