North American Indian religion is MUCH different than that practiced in central and South America...and is much more like the Jewish religion. Both believe in ONE God. They prayed to the animal they killed to ask it's spirit for forgiveness for having to kill it for food, and they used every single bit of the animal - nothing went to waste. Compare that to the kosher way of killing an animal in the most painless humane method possible so as to not inflict unnecessary pain and suffering on the creature. There are a lot of similarities.
