Karl Rove once said that former President George W. Bush would never Twitter he clearly didn't rule out Facebook. The 43rd president launched his Facebook page today and it's quite packed with links: you can pre-order his forthcoming book, "Decision Points," or visit any one of the following the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the George W. Bush Institute, the Bush-Cheney Alumni Association, the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund and the Washington Speakers Bureau. (Who can blame him? Isn't Facebook just about self-promotion, anyway?).
"Since leaving office, President Bush has remained active," says the page's first post. "He has visited 20 states and 8 countries; given over 65 speeches; launched the George W. Bush Presidential Center; participated in 4 policy conferences through The Bush Institute; finished the first draft of his memoir, 'Decision Points'; and partnered with President Clinton to establish the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. More on his activities in future posts. ..."
Wonder if Laura Bush is upset that her husband hasn't yet articulated his relationship status.
