Earlier this week, I watched Ken Salazar during a press conference from Louisiana promise that “we would not rest” until ALL the oil was cleaned up.
“We” obviously does not include his boss, Obama. Who is taking his second vacation since the Deep Water Horizon exploded, killing 11 crew members.
Hell, even his fans in the Liberal blogosphere are starting to doubt Obama’s response to the spill:
I don’t know if it’s about money, or if it’s still about trying to play nice with Republicans and business interests who are already abandoning the Democratic Party in favor of the Republicans, but Barack Obama’s tin ear about making even symbolic gestures other than his patented wag-of-the-finger about the BP oil spill is costing him…
Meanwhile, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) lays into the thin-skinned Boy King, screaming at Obama, “We’re tired of excuses.”
The problem for Obama and his team, and the reason for their delayed response and lack of action and leadership is because they still hasn’t figured out a way to blame President Bush for this yet.
