I'm wearing tinfoil, and thinking hard. I am getting a lot of qualms about this "oil spill" in the Gulf. Psychic chills. We know that the Dems/commies say "Never let a disaster go to waste" And knowing that...I'm getting the Heebie-Jeebies about them using this Gulf Oil Spill for political motives: 1. End all drilling offshore (A democrat dream) 2. Destroy all oil companies and grab their profits/assets and put them under Government control 3. Force Americans to give up gas-powered cars 4. Force rationing of electricity 5. Force rationing of heating oil 6. Increase prices/taxes on all forms of oil 7. Another far-reaching Bill - to control everything to do with POWER: batteries, engines, maintenance, heating homes, transportation - and force every consumer to do what THEY say to do, and USE what they say to use. 8. Time period to comply then HUGE fines. Please let's watch this situation - and prove me wrong. I wanna be wrong. Poster Comment: Objective and Rational? (chuckle)

Yeah, Norfolk/VA Beach/Tidewater is blessed with some very muggy days throughout the Summer...LOL!! And Richmond can get mighty hot in July and August and I'll bet we got more skeeters and pests than y'all do. As long as you are comfortable with the climate, that's all that matters...heck, Ferret Mike lives in the Great Northwest, where it pretty much rains all the time (rumor has it)...MUD

We take the kids to Virginia Beach each August and the jellyfish haven't been an issue for the last 4-5 years. That's on the Atlantic Coast, though...imho, the jellyfish are much more problematic in the Bay...MUD

(can't remember which) and the Naval Air Station from the small beach in the back. Guy next door was building a HUGE ocean going katamaran.
