Former First Lady Laura Bush has come out against the Arizona immigration law, pointing to the discrimination that her own Irish ancestors, named Welch, faced in their time. In an interview with Fox News, Bush said the new law merely showed an upsurge in prejudice similar to what her Irish ancestors faced. Poster Comment: Laura has hit the trifecta over at FR with this one.

Laura Bush wants queer marriage, wants to kill babies, and now wants to erase the borders. If it weren't for that last one, we could say that she suffers from BDS. If I could, I would. I'll point out the same thing I said when Nancy Reagan offered up her two cents on stem cell research. I didn't vote for her once. I like Laura Bush (thought Nancy Reagan was a empty suit, literally and figuratively), but her view is not much different than W's, and that was at the heart of his disasterous 2nd term. JMHO.
