You can always re-post here that picture of a girly boy you say is you with your last name prominently displayed and then complain about being "outted" when your name is posted. It was either a bike race or a jogging event, who cares, probably still in the Google archives.

Yes, and his resume and everything about himself is all over the Internet. He's a damn attention whore.

I wonder if Badeye actually posts under his real name on his Facebook page? You know, the one he says he spends most of his time on?

I thought FB was football, not Facebook. I don't do Facebook, but Badeye and myself have talked football for years.

He's a Bengals fan, I'm a Ravens/Eagles fan and the one thing about all our posts back and forth, we don't lie. We don't knock players who are performing.

Badeye knows how much I liked Willie Anderson, O line being signed by the Ravens after the Bengals cut him. His last year he was heading toward retirement. He played and delivered a bunch, $$ cut for the Bengals, great backup who played more than was expected.

Badeye and myself have never had a major disagreement or called each other four letter names. He even invited me to his house for a playoff game. That damned 75 mile rule the congress put in for football only covers Balto-Wash, NYC, Oakland and nowhere else. I couldn't get the game because of their stupid law which still hasn't been repealed. The rule originated when the Baltimore Colts were disintegrating and bailing to become the Irsays.

Big Willie is a class act. That said, he was injured and missed a lot of games the last two seasons with us, and we had guys ready to take his place. I'm really happy with the way the Bengals O line has come around. Especially the last half of last season. They should be beasts this year.

biggest concern I have is...Palmer. His vaunted accuracy was way off from what we've gotten used to, and seemed to get worse in the last 4 games. The throws he missed in the wildcard game....no explanation for them.

He's got a very good TE from the draft, after him its going to be a dogfight for the other one, maybe two, TE spots on the roster. I'm hoping Lewis and Brown cut the lame this spring and in camp. We keep carrying to many that can't stay on the field.

Should have a HUGE YEAR from Malaluga and Rivers. Really like the CB's we have, top three tandem in the NFL. D line is very solid, the only concern for the D unit is the Safety spots. We'll see, very surprised the Bengals didn't address that in the draft or with a serious move in Free Agency.

Right now I'd say the three most improved teams in the NFL overall are the Dolphins, the Jets (they are serious about getting to the SB this year, no doubt about it)....and your Ravens. I doubt my Bengals will sweep the division again this year, thats for sure. Cleveland should be somewhat improved, but it will take them til mid season to really know what they have. Steelers? Rebuilding year, and with Rapelisberger out for at least 4 games, maybe 6 they could end up with a losing record, 7-9...or 8-8. Maybe get to 9-7, the schedule they have isn't the toughest by a long shot. Figure they will be back next year with a vengence, its still one of the best sports franchises around.

Figure the Patriots run is over, especially given the improvement of both the Jets, and the Dolphins. The mystic is gone, they had their decade. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, Holt has left though.

AFC West...anybody's guess. Don't be surprised if Denver shocks everybody. JMHO. Chargers have to be slight favorite...but it will be a dog fight.

Gotta give Manning and the Colts the edge in their division, cause thats still Peyton Manning, but I don't see em doing much of anything in the playoffs.

NFC? Saints did the smart move keeping the team together, had a good draft. Gotta be the favorites heading into the season to get back to the Super Bowl. Everybody gunning for them, but I like the team chemistry, I think they have a really shot to repeat. Mature team, and a quarterback that understands he has a three year...maybe four year window to write his name up with Bradshaw, Montana and Brady. I think thats the difference between the Saints as reigning champions and some in the past, like the Steelers with Rapelisberger for example.

I expect the Skin's to miss the playoffs again. Expect the trend of Snyder bring in former all pro's that never make it back to the pro bowl to continue. McNabb behind that offensive line, he'll get pounded and miss quite a few games is my guess. We'll see.

49'ers....I like what Singletary is doing there, they can win that division this year.

I also think the Packers will be very very tough this season.

Vikings...great running game, good defense that could be great. Favre will probably come back...but I think this will be the year the wheels come off. Thought that would happen last year, he proved almost everybody wrong...but time takes its toll, and he's due for a Stabler with the Saints type end. Personally, I hope he walks away into the sunset. but doubt he will.

Great analysis.

Anquan Boldin made My Yahoo homepage headlines just for a workout. I can't wait to see what happens with a rifle armed QB and some receivers, Derrick Mason was great but he's in his last years. With other threats it could be a very good year for him.

I haven't looked at the league as deep as you have. The Jets are definitely primed and ready, they stole Rex Ryan and that stupid QB from my brothers HS team Mike Pettine from the Ravens. The key is the players they signed. They are ready.

Cincy got first dibs on the best TE in the draft just as you predicted. Ravens pulled off a trade for draft picks at the last moment in the first round that Ozzie Newsome described as "white eyed" because it was such a sweet deal.

Ravens picked up two TE's later, one more than I thought they would pick but Ozzie goes for the best player available.

I couldn't believe how bad the Steelers were last year. Last time they stunk they were competing in the OJ bowl with Philly and Buffalo. I don't expect a good season for them but I'm betting they will get better. AFC North is the black and blue division, and they will come to play.

Don't be surprised if TO is still 'out there' if the Bengals sign him, just before or during the pre season.

At least TO's reportedly so old and slow the Ravens CB's can keep up with him.

I think CB's are the key to any defense. It's a different game from when I played, I was a safety or DB (and a lousy QB), we didn't call them CB's back when I was a kid.

I think every NFL team needs CBs, I think it's the most demanding position after QB. It's asking a lot for a small quick guy to tackle the big FB and defend against a super fast receiver. Been there done that.

You have two quality CB's, you can blitz at will. See the Jets defense, prime example.

If the Bengals were to pick up TO, four WR sets would be interesting. Not to mention having him in the slot, Chad and Bryant outside plus this rookie TE we just picked up...lots of interesting things can be done. Benson didn't get his due as a blocker last year, he did a good job picking up the blitz and chipping/helping out as necessary We also picked up a kid out of Texas thats being compared to Welker.

Bottom line is Palmer has no excuses. The defense is set, the offense has some brand new toys for the passing game, the O line looks great for either pass or run. Basically, we should not just make the playoffs, we should advance in them.
