This one will have everyone in American yacking up their most recent hugely portioned meal. Finally, a story that may help with the obesity epidemic! Take a look at them in the pic above, smiling with their surrogate mother. A grandmother and grandson in Indiana are in a relationship and have actually played hide the salami a few times. As my little sister would say: open brain bleach, pour in ear, shake head, repeat.
72-year-old Pearl Carter is 26-year-old Phil Baileys maternal grandmother. When Pearl gave birth to Phils mother, she was forced by her Catholic parents to give the baby up for adoption. Years went by without contact, and eventually Phils mother died of brain cancer. At that point, Phil managed to track down his grandmother, whom he had never met.
About their first encounter, Pearl says:
From the first moment that I saw him, I knew we would never have a grandmother-grandson relationship. For the first time in years I felt sexually alive.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall for that meeting. Cant just picture grandma flapping her wrinkly eyelids at Phil, drawing him in with her lustful eyes?
So how do they feel about all of the rife criticism they are sure to receive? Well, granny says you can blame it all on Genetic Sexual Attraction syndrome. After hearing of the condition she says:
I could now understand my feelings and realize they werent wrong.
Oh, I get it. It makes it perfectly fine now that you realize your impulses could be the result of a rare syndrome.
Anyway, before we get our bloomers in a knot, lets keep in mind that their baby will be carried by a surrogate. I think its fair to say that grannys reproductive organs are not what they used to be. At least good ole Phil wont have to worry about contraception!
